Reason why he needs a defender to cover for him is becouse Ronaldo isn't doing it. Fullback are not supposed to be that exposed and Ronaldo isn't helping

No he didn't. He did *bleep* all. Like he always does. Sanchez, Messi and Iniesta never once went down his flank in the 1st half because they thought Coentrao was the weak link. 2nd half, they bombarded marcelo's flank and he was caught out so many times it was uneal.

2nd goal = a build up (offside although) in the right wing and then Xavi longshot
3rd goal = a cross by Alves and a unmarked Fabregas, once again Coentraos man

1st goal Messi was allowed to get free and play that pass because of bad positioning from Ramos and Marcelo.....

Sanchez was actually Pepe's man not Coentrao's he had to come across to try and make up the mistakes from the rest of the back 4.....

3rd goal Alves was completely free on Marcelo's flank and allowed to cross but somehow its Coentrao's fault

Anyway iam done just wanted to get that off my chest.

Izzy speaks the truth, Marcelo wasn't that good. Wasn't awful but he certainly doesn't warrant all this praise for such a below average performance.

Nobody praised him on his performance on the game, they just said he wasn't bad.

coentrao always had lass and dimaria to help him out

marcelo was on his own all the time, never saw that winger track back ONCE during the whole game, there is a reason marcelo was so solid when the two wingers had switched position....bring that back MOU!!!
