End of November Notes and the obligatory Next 6 games Thread
- Our form since 4-0 loss @ WHL: WWWDDWWDWDW. 6 Away wins in a row, 4 Home draws in a row
- Bellamy: What a man, absolutely love him. Fantastic bit of business on deadline day
- Coates: Can be a little rash at times, but fantastic heading from the back. He'll be our next Hyypia.
- Maxi: He loves London, doesn't he ? Start him @ Craven Cottage plz.
- Carroll: Frustrated man atm and you could tell he would miss that peno, but despite that and all his unluckiness, getting closer to a much needed goal every game. His pressing and aggression has improved and has picked up a few lessons from Suarez in going down
- Lucas: Simply a Brick Wall, should win player of the month for sure !, all pray his injury isn't serious
- We are playing more like end of last season now, and that's a big positive
- Confidence and Team Spirit are high, which is vital for run of games coming up
- Squad depth showed today and all members will get playing time in December
FIXTURES:
5/12: @ Fulham
10/12: vs QPR
18/12: @ Villa
21/12: @ Wigan
26/12: vs Blackburn
30/12: vs Newcastle

Special mention should go to Skrtel and Agger partnership too.One of the best CB pairing in the league.
Also Agger is the best CB in the league at the moment IMO.

Props for mentioning Agger-Skrtel partnership BeautifulGame
Agger is such a beast this year......I would turn homo for him without a second thought.
Great month we had barring the draws....we dominated every single one of them and ended up losing two points in each. Hoping for a better month in December. The team is finally gelling, the early knee-jerk frustrations are long gone

Honestly 1 draw and 5 wins is the worst we can hope for if we want top 4

Re: End of November Notes and the obligatory Next 6 games Thread
STOP MAKING PREDICTIONS ABOUT THE NEXT SIX GAMES. IT JINXES US EVERY TIME.
Seriously though, November had a lot of positives to take away from it, obviously except for the dropped points. I still think we need a clinical scorer, but if we keep setting up goals like we were against these top teams, putting it in positions that can't miss, we'll be a force to be reckoned with. the team is finally gelling together, and things are looking good.

Re: End of November Notes and the obligatory Next 6 games Thread
4 wins seems very probable, but I like to take it one game at a time. Villa aren't the team they used to be but they still have the like, Petrov, Agbonlahor, Bent, Albrighton, N'Zogbia, and Heskey (
)......So they should be a tough test. And Newcastle of course is a completely different team, they will be without Ba and Tiote because of African Cup of Nations but I'm not sure. But they will still have the likes of Collo, Cabaye, and HBA, so they will be dangerous as always. Blackburn and Wigan should be guaranteed wins but with Norwich and Swansea taking points from us, I would be much surprised losing points to these two, but hopefully not.

Re: End of November Notes and the obligatory Next 6 games Thread
It all depends on how our front-line performs. May be we should start playing Suarez & Bellamy behind Carroll consistantly.
-------------Reina-------------
Glen-Skrtel--Agger-Enrique
-----------Spearing-----------
-----Adam--Henderson-----
Bellamy---------------Suarez
------------Carroll------------
Bellamy can't play 90 mins every game and should be subbed with Maxi or Kuyt. Big question is how long is Spearing suspended!

Spearing will be banned for the Wigan game and I'm really worried about Adam playing DM. He is simply not into tackling, is he!!! I think Adam in front of the back-four will create more pressure (psychological) than relieving. Also, it's high time to lose the enviable record of hitting the cross-bar more than any other teams.

Re: End of November Notes and the obligatory Next 6 games Thread
FIVE games in fifteen days.
Most of the games looks pretty tough: City (x2), NUFC, Stoke.
In hind-sight, having made a mess of easier fixtures; I'm not sure what to expect any longer.
Gerrard will have his work cut-out. When can we expect the final ruling on Suarez!!! Some of the players really need to come out good: Carroll, Spearing, Adam & Downing.

Unfortunately, I'll be missing just about all these games now that I'm working.
