El Clasico Post Match Analysis Empty Team Madrid didnt Start Tonight

Post by huntsman Sat Dec 10, 2011 11:32 pm

To me, the main reason Madrid lost tonight was because we played Afro on LB and Coentrao on RB whereas Afro shouldnt have been included in the squad against barca let alone subs.

The second and main reason is because we havent played the Maestro from the beginning. Had the Maestro teamed up with Ronaldo from the start of the game things would have been different. Ozil is a terrible player in big games. He is mediocre in the rest.

Cometh at them Kaka.

marcelo is fine, and when he's on the pitch ozil was best player in the field along with benzema & di maria, he should have stayed on the pitch longer

PAIRING.
Taking each player alone we can say they both realise a great performance, but as a duo, that was a crap.
No connection, no tempo, no organisation... and this explain how they were overtaken in the 2nd half when Pep fixed his formation.

Ozil was invisible and ineffective throughout the match. he has a tendency to disappear when things don't go well for the team.

I felt Ozil actually played some nice touches with Di Maria in the first half, I felt like neither of them shoulve been subbed

El Clasico Post Match Analysis Empty Mourinho gets a tough decision to make

Post by LeBéninois Sun Dec 11, 2011 2:35 am

Real can't rely anymore on Cr7 . Seriously , as the more i watch real m in big m
games, the more i start thinking that karim benzema should be le fer de lance ( let's translate by th main weapon ) .

Benzema is they key, he is so complete and his decision making ...
Higuain will shine playing besides him Very Happy , but besides ronaldo not Crying or Very sad .
Same for di maria , kaka,

I know cr7 is a 94 e but he has lost pace , agility and even a bit of confidence Crying or Very sad . HE can be the factor X anymore. More responsabilities for benzema even if he is kinda shy Embarassed .

Keep ronaldo as a goalscorer but the main build-up and attack leader should be benzema ( and ozil and kaka too)

Post by Calebvision Sun Dec 11, 2011 11:12 am

No sure whehter Roanldo has lost pace or has chosesn, for some reason, to slow things down, but, I agree that I would rather see him "fly" at defenders like in Man U. days.

In Benzema I see a good player, but that is all. Talk about slow!

Post by Senor Penguin Sun Dec 11, 2011 11:17 am

Kaka is just past it, wake up people. As dreadful as Cristiano was I'd rather have him play a Clasico than Kaka.

Benzema, Higuain and Ozil on the other hand should be playing together. Di Maria too depending on the formation. Benzema and Ozil are the best playmakers out there. Higuain complements the team well because of his direct and clinical style - no bullsh*t basically.

I don't know what you people see in him. It's the 80th minute of the game and he's playing against opponents who have already given their best and are 2 goals up ... He was even spending most of his time on the wing, where he is no where near as useful as he is in the middle.

Kaka was great off the bench, don't know what you're talking about. Also all this Cris shouldn't play talk isn't really going to matter. Regardless of his occasional poor performances he makes millions of dollars for the club and he's the poster boy. He's always going to start and be given primary opportunity.

Don't get me wrong I'm not satisfied either, but there is more to it than just what happens on the pitch. Unfortunately Cristiano Ronaldo is our cash cow.

Penguin Kaka is useful, I know he isn't a solution but he's a good sub. I would still prefer to start Ozil though but for some reason you think everyone wants Kaka to start Razz

Probably huntsman effect lol!

To OP you've confused me, an arsenal fan who likes barca?!

Anyway CR is CR, I'll ignore this barca game for now and await the CL games ahead of us. Hope he shows his team player side this year against the tougher opponents.
