So Hannover beat Brugge 2:1 whlle they should have scored at least 5 more, but missed and got a penalty plus a perfectly valid goal taken away too. But all in all the most entertaining match of this week.

The refs should be tarred, feathered and hung up to dry.

Well, one can't do a Hannover thread without mentioning Robert Enke. He will forever be there.

BTW, the rest of the pics and info will be added later in the evening, I hope.

Hangover

Germany doing nice to retain it's 4th CL spot.

Buli on the rise .

It might not be as competitive on the lower places as before, but in the long term it would be great having a "big 4" like in England.

Well, I hope H96 can reach the EL spots again. ATM they trail Werder there. I'm curious whom they will draw for the EL QF tomorrow. I hope it won't be Charkiw as that would be nasty travelling in midweek.

I wouldn't write off Gladbach just yet. There's also Bremen and Leverkusen who with a few new players could be very tough sides.

They've got the support, they just need the dough or (even more) new youth talents.

Welcome back, by the way Very Happy I remember you from the old forums.

BTW, there will be a free German live stream for Atletico - H96 here at ran.de: http://www.ran.de/de/fussball/europa-league/video/el-live-tvinfo.html (German proxy might be needed though). The match will also be shown on German free TV channel Kabel1.

Last week, Atletico managed to defeat Hannover 2:1 in Madrid. Today Hannover is going to try to fight back at home and overturn last week's result. I hope Ron-Robert Zieler will have a perfect day and keep a clean sheet, then everything is possible.

Last week, Hannover won in Ireland 3:0, although the result was a little too high as St.Patrick's fought bravely.

Right now, St.Patrick's visit Hannover for the second leg.

Hannover 96:
Zieler
Cherundolo - Haggui - Schulz - Rausch
da Silva Pinto - Andreasen
Stindl - Huszti
Ya Konan - Abdellaoue

St.Patrick's Athletic
Clarke
O'Brien - Kenna - Browne - Bermingham
Chambers
Forrester - Bolger - Russell - O'Connor
Fagan

32. Haggui (header, assist by Huszti)

Eggimann, who was subbed in for Schulz who got injured, scores the 2nd Hannover goal.

47. Eggimann (header, assist by Rausch)

FT - Hannover 96 2:0 St.Patrick's Athletic

So Hannover proceeds to the EL play-offs that will be drawn tomorrow.

Right now the pre-season friendly of Hannover vs Manchester United started. ManUtd showed up with a very good team and not just the B-team:

Manchester United: Lindegaard (De Gea 46); M Keane, Vidic (Valencia 73), Carrick, Evra; Nani, Cleverley, Kagawa, Young (Giggs 46); Rooney, Hernandez (Anderson 73).
