This isnt the first time it has happened.

You think other players are happy with it? Of course they are not, but they dont say stuff like that.

The likes of Song, Tello are just happy to be there tbh, Cesc wants to start because he's playing well. He was once again selected into the La Liga team of the week.

Pedro scored a hattrick and was dropped the next game.

He didnt say a single word and when he played, he ran his ass off as usual.

Tbh Pedro (and others) DID say words. Pedro indicated a few days ago that he wants more playing time for his spot in the next World Cup. Even Iniesta made indirect comments "no one likes not to play every game". Xavi: "It's strange to sit on the bench" etc.

Ok, perhaps he/they said something, but clearly different to what Cesc said. Cesc is doing some crying in those quotes.

Pedro was benched after his hattrick against Rayo but he played against Almeria straight away. He didn't have much excuse for crying.

Anyway my point is, why dislike a player who wants to play and break into the team? I would much rather want on the bench someone who wants to play and prove himself than someone else who's happy to collect his wages for doing nothing.

Cesc pisses me off. What....so we should drop INIESTA OR MESSI for you?! Of course, Messi is injured now...but you get my point. Those are his only two positions and we have far superior, established players in them. He should of stayed at Arsenal if he wanted to play every game. He should of known he was going to rotate with us. And if anything, didn't stats show that last few seasons he played more minutes than most players on our team bar Messi? I mean seriously.....

And I for one like Tatas rotating policy. I was sick and tired of Roura, and Tito (even Pep his last season) just playing with 11 players all season. It was ridiculous how little they moved the starting 11 around. This way, our entire squad will still be firing on all cylinders at the end of the season when it matters most.

But you really think it's ok that he whines in public? I agree with him that he should have played over Xavi or Iniesta, he is in better form, but you shouldn't use those words when talking about it in public.

I don't think that this is such a big deal. Sure, he maybe should have not said this to the media, but then again I saw a bit of the video and it looked to me like it was the journalist that asked him about his "little" playing time. Fabregas didn't just brought it out from nowhere.

Because by crying about it to the public he's forcing the coach's hand. He should keep his head down, work hard and prove his worth on the pitch rather than tell the media "It hurt not to play vs Milan". And it's not as if he's not starting important games, he started the clasico ffs.

Anyways I agree it's not that big a deal, he should not have cried to the media, had he just said the part about "I'm working hard to prove to the coach he can count on me" as a response that would have been a perfectly fine response. I think people are reacting strongly because this is not the first time he does this, and with Tito he did feature more after complaining to the public.

Hold on a minute, he isn't always on the bench, he has played mostly every game coming from the bench or starting so why is he complaining..

why does he want more minutes, he is already in top 10 of the most (aka starting 11)
