I think the Milan game showed that is a myth tbf.

As long as the striker in question is intelligent with his movement it will always enhance Messi's play imo.

I am more than happy with this half. Messi has brought his goat form to the NT. Masche and gago are bossing, fedfern has been imperious as the stopping cb, him and zabaleta have that right side completely locked down romero has been totally untested. Rojo sucks though.

That handball was clearas day, it hit him on the upper arm

great half.....
everyone looked so confident..however passing back to messi for no reason annoyed me in few cases. defense looking very solid, mash playing well, zabaleta needs to run faster Very Happy

and the overall passing accuracy was great i think
higuain superb finish. messi so far playing well....is there another game on midweek??

Only if you put another false 9 like Fabregas or Slutan Ibrahimovic infront of him. True predators like Higuain or Villa who don't need many touches complement him very well though.

I just saw it again Its a handball, he doesnt hit with his shoulder, he tries to, but misses and it hits the back of his upper arm instead.

Given that it's the outer part of the shoulder i'd consider it part of the arm
I'll admit it's not as clear as I originally thought and I think it was a harsh penalty but don't find the call a robbery
