Pedro (27) has decided to join Chelsea, who will pay his 30M buyout fee. Had earlier rejected offers from Arsenal, Liverpool, PSG. [sport]

€ 30M.

You won't get €30M from us, we paid that amount for Cesc and he was much more demanded and higher profile player.

More like 20m if you ask me. We are quite stingy now days due to FFP.

30M is his release clause and it's not like he's demanding a move or something so if Jose wants him then he's got to pay up

Pedro (27) will talk with the new board after the elections next week as he still has doubts about staying or not this summer. [md]

Sheesh, just GTFO already.

The man is the ultimate fraud, he is something like that guy who goes job center every week and somehow cons them into thinking he will actually get a job next week..only to return with some amazing excuse and he gets to sign on again and collect his money.

He somehow manages to convince Barca to keep him year after year, no matter how he performs.

I dont care what Chelsea fofers, I will tak it. This isnt like selling Alexis who had value and performances to back it up. When its like that, I will get upset if we sell for 5, 10 or 15 less than I think he is worth. But not with Pedro, I dont care what they offer, I will take it.

Even more so now we have this Arda Turan. We have to find as many minutes as possible for him to have even a chance to justify that crazy fee.

Thank god our treble winning coach values Pedro and won't let him go this season. Next season will be perfect to sell him though. Stay Pedrito! cheers cheers

So long Pedro

Won't let him go? "I don't want anyone to leave [which he also said about Douglas Laughing] but he's got a release clause and if he wants to go I will respect his decision" is a nice way to say "gtfo".

Luis Enrique: "Pedro and Adriano exit rumours? I've already said that if someone leaves, it'll be because he has paid the buyout fee."

Luis Enrique: "I've talked with Pedro. We've both said what we think. I won't explain what we said. He has to decide."

Goodbye, sweet prince. Molenation

Luis Enrique is saying he wants him to stay, not the opposite as you say twisting his words.

Pedro won't leave only unless the buyout is paid according to LE. I don't think anyobdy will pay 30M for him and LE knows that.

He doesn't say that, and if you want to dump him, you don't say you want him to stay and you'll only accept the release clause.

Newsflash. That's what you say regardless of whether you want to dump him or not.

"I hope that he stays," Busquets said. "That's what I would like, but it is his decision."

The Barcelona midfielder added: "I've spoke with him, but I am not going to say what he said to me. I understand that he has doubts because he wants to play."

Looks like he's pretty much gone hmm

Not really. If you want to dump him you can either say it as Guardiol did with Ronaldinho and Deco, or you can also say the typical: If he wants to leave he can leave.

Sure. But as an initial bargaining position it's usually sensible to say you don't want him gone and his release clause must be paid.

Re: Pedro Rodriguez

i doubt enrique has the balls to say he wants to sell a player

i don't know the full details but unless it was one of those typical barca release clause thing where it gets dropped after not meeting a certain amount of games there was no reason for us to lower his release clause without the intention to sell him.

when the board lowers his release clause or the player it indicates that he is willing to go to whomever is willing to pay enough for him (aka secure a starting role)
