The ghost perk looks interesting with the whole 'undectable by UAV as long as you're moving' thing.

Also, are they saying there's no Pro perks? In a way, that's a relief for me. Because I could just use these perks now without having to worry about missing out on other features of the perk while prestiging.

And I don't think Specialist will return, we would have heard about it by now. And while BO2 is out, I think the Specialist Strike Package will be what makes me return to MW3.

So if you aren't moving with ghost, there's no point to it?

"One highlighted by Vonderhaar specifically was the "Ghost" perk, which now only makes players invisible to UAVs if they are on the move. This protects against campers that have relied on the perk to keep them hidden for years, and it's a fantastic change."

I´ll probably be using Lightweight, Toughness and Dexterity/EC. I´ve never really been a fan of the perk combinations in Black Ops. They will probably re-introduce that lame sway effect on sniper rifles..

Also, no Sleight of Hand?

They said they would keep the traditionals in the game and I know this isn't a final list but come on... Sleight of Hand should be a given.

Sleight of Hand might not be needed, if the default reload time on the guns is short, but yeah.. SoH should be a given.

Well they are "perks"

They aren't meant to make a monumental difference, they're meant to make a slight difference.

I think the BOPs 2 perks need a pro version.

Well since there is no Sleight of Hand, (assuming Fast Mag is the same as Dual Mag) I'll probably run:

MP7 w Fast Mag
Executioner w Fast Mag

C4
Concussions

Hardline
Scavenger
Awareness/Extreme Conditioning.

UAV
HellStorm Missile
Orbital VSAT

If killstreaks do restart in the same life like in MW3, then I'll use just UAV and Hellstorm Missiles, if they dont then I'll use the above setup. I've noticed I win more games when I put UAV. You and your whole team just play better when a UAV is up. Because when BO2 comes out, I'm gonna try and get a really good start in terms of K/D and W/L

Sure, but "I'm gonna try and get a really good start in terms of K/D and W/L" sounds like you're going to try harder than Bill Clinton tried to hide his secret affair. Of course, I´d prefer to get tons of kills and few deaths, but I´m not going to make that a goal of mine, because that kind of mindset usually leads to camping/try-harding. No offense, I just don´t see why it´s so important to get high K/Ds, and I don´t consider it entertaining to get good statistics, unless I do it without putting too much effort into staying alive. It´s just a game. I don´t know how old you are, but I´ve had a lot of squeeky kids rage at me after ruining their killstreaks, and they often tend to look up my elite profile and point towards the fact that my K/D ratio is lower than 2.0.

I´d rather play against people who beat me in terms of accuracy, reflexes and game understanding, than some guy who sneaks around corners with Hardline, HB-sensor and the latest Astro headset.

I have a 5.0 K/D ratio on my alt account in MW2. I pretty much just played it safe on that account, because I thought it´d be interesting to see how high I could get it using a sniper/tac knife (I also had 100% accuracy up until prestige 3, at which point I accidentally got into a hacked lobby). It was kind of interesting at first, but I bet a lot of people thought I was being insanely lame, playing like that. And I can understand that. When I get Black Ops 2, I hope most people don´t pay too much attention to getting their K/Ds up from the get-go.

I don´t know if you've played with Anti-DNA/Versacci, yet? From what I can tell, that guy is a beast at getting great stats without being a lamer

Re: Black Ops 2

I'm saying I want to get a good start because I really only get one shot at it. I've got over 120,000 kills on Xbox and I can't really change my stats much now because everything I do will make a miniscule difference. But with BO2, I get a fresh start. When I first started playing MW3, I was like a 0.8 K/D player, now I've got that upto 2 and I wanna see if I can improve on that.

And high K/D does not always equal camping. There are so, so many people out there with above average K/Ds who don't camp. If you watched me play, you would clearly see I'm not one of them.

Yeah, I'm not taking a jab at you or anything. I´m just fed up with players in general, who care so much about their K/D ratio that they use (in my opinion) underhanded tactics in order to get a neat little number on their Elite profile.

Personally, I probably play too aggressively. I want to win games, but I always get restless when I'm last alive in Search & Destroy, and I´m in a setting where I´m probably better off camping than chasing after the opponents. I tend to run at them in situations where I know that the odds are against me, and I'm more likely to die than survive. I think I´ve gotten better at being a bit more passive when the situation calls for it, but in terms of trying to win games, I probably have a pretty retarded playing style. When my net allows it, I usually beat my opponents in terms of reaction time, and that advantage tends to make me as cocky and reckless as Pepe Razz

I've been playing like crap recently. Swapping between 32", 42" and 52" TVs has royally messed up my accuracy and overall efficiency, and it's starting to feel like I'll never get used to my own 52" again.
