No offense, but Liverpool isnt a step up from Atleti. We won the Europa and the European super cup. We will probably be in CL this year which will give us enough money to spend next season.

None taken, Atleti always look good at the beginning of the season but end up bottling it badly because that's the way they are!!! I know one thing for sure though, whenever Atleti miss out on CL they're star forwards leave (i.e. Torres, Forlan, Aguero) Twisted Evil

But anyways, my first comment about Falcao coming to Anfield was meant as a joke. We'll never in a million years even attempt to buy him Sad

Here is an interesting story about Falcao, most ppl would think it BS but I'll write it anyway, in 2001 I was just 20 and I worked as technician back then, I went with a machinery supplier called Mr. Carlo to buy used machines from Columbia, anyway Carlo is a HUGE Roma fan, the factory owner that we visited had his connections with many football clubs in the capital, a day prior to our departure he took us to watch a "kids" match and Falcao was among those kids, he caught the eyes of Carlo and asked his friend about him, and he later went and met with clubs' owner or president or whoever it was....

After 30 mins Carlo came back and I asked him are you interested in anyone specific and he pointed to Falcao, and he told me the beauty about the boy apart from his talent; is his name since Falcao is a legend in Roma books. A month later Carlo called the company I work for to check on the status of the machines, so I asked about that kid, and told me Romas' management refused paying a compensation fee of 125,000 USD for the kid, and they thought the other club are trying to play on Romas' "emotions" to milk 125000 USD out of them.

True Story.

Radamel Falcao's age is in the eye of the hurricane. According to Channel News One, the Monaco striker would have two more years of those in your passport. Therefore, in February would have turned 29 years old and not 27.

Chain's thesis is based on the registration form Tiger at the Colegio San Pedro Claver of Bucaramanga. It reads: born on 02.10.1984.
Wilson Serrano, president of the center, agrees: "To complete this card you must present your original civil registration. He came in 1989 in the class of five year olds. Colombian Federation should investigate a bit more."

Recall that Falcao debuted in the second division in the ranks of Boyacá Lancers with 13 years and 112 days. Colombia remains the youngest to debut in a professional category.

dayuum. Monaco should demand a refund payed by falcao

Columbia media El Tiempo did an investigation into Falcao's age.  Namely, they went to the country's public record and pulled out Falcao's certified birth certificate and also checked into his record with his other schools.

Result?  He's 27 and not 29.  It was a clerical mistake at this one school.

Falcao stretchered off in today's match. Looks really serious. World Cup in doubt. Hope it isn't though.

Forget the WC, if serious, this injury could ruin his career at his age. Monaco looks like the best possible move for him in hindsight now.

Luckily for Colombia they have strikers for dayssssss, but unfortunately Falcao is still Falcao, and him not playing the World Cup would just dampen his resume seeing as he's yet to play a CL or any real prestigious tournament aside 2011 Copa America.

Yanga-Mbiwa's tackle on Nasri was worse. Just saying.

Btw, how was he doing before this injury? I haven't noticed him setting the league alight or anything.

They'd been rotating Falcao a lot tbh. Martial is injured, so it's just him and Riviere as the CFs. Each was supposed to play a half tonight.

Torn ACL according to prelim reports. Full tear. Out of the WC if true.
