I hardly ever watch the German league, so normally, I'd take your word for it.

But I still haven't forgiven you for the Dante hype.

That's good to hear. Tite has made him a guaranteed starter.

I'm disappointed about Arthur not getting in. There's a lot of donkeys in the midfield, but that was expected. Cassio is joke, but he's the third GK, so who really gives a shit? I have no idea what Taison provides.

Tite said that there's three starting spots up for grabs. Who partners Miranda, RB, and a midfielder. Also, Coutinho might be moved to midfield if we're trying to break down a parked bus. So, it should be something like this.

Alisson
Danilo/Fagner     Miranda    TS/Marquinhos     Marcelo
Casemiro
                 Paulinho                 Fernandinho/RA/Coutinho
Coutinho/William                                     Neymar
Gabriel Jesus

Maybe Brazil's only weakness is high quality central creative midfielders. That and the doubts over Neymar's fitness.

It looks like Thiago Silva beat out Marquinhos for the starting CB spot, and we'll go with the more cautious BREXIT midfield of Casemiro, Paulinho, and Fernandinho.

The game is tomorrow at 14 GMT.

It's been a while since we've had this many promising young players.

At least we'll have something to look forward to when we crash out to the first side that has a decent left winger after Danilo gives up four goals all on his own.

I think we're being severely overrated right now. I hope I'm wrong.

RB is a real issue, though.

Alisson-Danilo-Thiago-Miranda-Marcelo-Paulinho-Casemiro-Coutinho-Willian-Jesus-Nerman will be the lineup vc Austria after today's training session. Only the Jesus vs Firmino spot looks open for the WC

I'm pretty sure I don't have one drop of Brazilian blood in my veins and yet I can't help but feel bad for a country who once had this monstrous roster of demigods and BdO winners:
Spoiler:

My oh my, it's like it was assembled by God himself; a deadly war machine waiting for a divine call to dismantle the world brick by brick.

Never have I seen a NT with so much talent in my life. yeah I said it!

Why are Fabinho and Allan still ostracised? Either of them should be there over Pereira or Augusto.

Thank god Ederson and Paulinho are out of the picture.

Now if he could take Filipe Luís out too progress could begin to be made.

Ederson asked to not be called up this time due to personal reasons, so I'm guessing he's still very much in the picture.

Who would you take instead of Filipe Luis?

I don't know why Allan was never used, but it doesn't look very likely that he's in Tite's future plans.

I would've liked to see William, Fagner, and Renato Augusto left off, especially the latter two.

I'm happy to see Paqueta, Arthur, and Pedro given a chance. I hope Pedro steps up and makes the position his.

The Hugo thing seems fishy as hell.

Tite just dropping Jesus out of the blue after sticking by him in every world cup game is one of the weirdest things i have seen.

A month ago he believed in the boy so much that Firmino could hardly get a start; and now "it's not his fault that there is too much competition" lmao. who is this competition? Pedro? lol

anyway, if i am Tite, i put Neymar at ACM behind two strikers or as false 9. That old "i take the ball on the left wing and i dribble to score" trick is not going to win a world cup

Yeah, it's weird, but what's wrong with Pedro? You're not a fan of the classic 9? You're the kind of guy that looks up defensive stats for his CFs? Laughing

i can't stand classic 9s, i want my CF to get involved in the game and to be able to create his own shot.

Anybody else. Luis is 33 and way out of his prime now. He needs to be out.

Brazil could have some really good additions in future:

Malcom, Arthur, Andreas Pereira, Richarlison, Lucas Moura, Fabinho, Vinicius, Allan, Neres, Felipe Anderson who looks rejuvinated at WHU, etc

Add that to an already strong side... imagine if also players who played for other countries instead like Jorginho, Diego Costa, Thiago Alcantara, Mario Fernandes (I know he isn't top tier but Brazil could use a good RB now)

Brazil can look forward to the future IMO
