Sergio Ramos slipped up on Social networks this Monday when he congratulated Spain's women's water polo team for the gold medal it won almost a month ago at the World Championships in Barcelona: "Time to rest after watching the women's water polo team win. Congratulations girls!"

In the run-up to Real Madrid's league match against Granada, the Spanish international defender was in the team's hotel watching a repeat of the final against Australia (8-6) being broadcast on Teledeporte.

Carroll's heading is overrated for me, the guy is just really tall. I'd love to see the stats on how many goals he's actually scored or assisted with his head. I bet they aren't as many as people would have thought.

Fair point, I just feel his heading ability is a lot more down to him being so tall rather than being brilliant in the air but that's imo

He's not the most lethal of strikers so I don't know why you would bring that out as if it is a major issue. Besides he has had many games in which he finshed with two goals.

Hope he stays as a back up option after we get the much needed improved striker which we do indeed need. Hope he gets to 100 goals sooner rather than later. Could end up being more of a treasured player to the club if he does this along with names like Wiltord, Anelka, Kanu and Overmars. Rather than rats like van Persie.

But he most probably won't stay once he sees he isn't starting enough. Sad
