We could sign Krychowiak who is a taller version of him.

but the transfer market is shut so he is all we got, i can't believe it got to the point where we are hoping for Coquelin to be fit every week ffs Laughing

lmao, I mean in January. Wenger screwed us in the summer transfer market.

Until then all we can do is rest him in some irrelevant games and hope he stays injury/card free.

Weger has total faith in Arteta and Flamini, he believes both are WC players. Laughing
Had one of them been healthy while the other one was out, Coquelin would be still playing in some second division team somewhere in Europe. Laughing

I have a confession lads

I think I really like Coquelin and I am glad he is at Arsenal. I know the issues we have in the team and that he is limited. But I love how passionate he is about the club and always gives it all.

Just look at this celebration ffs

He doesn't get enough credit for what he does in my opinion. There are times where he is pressing for 3 players. He has carried both Xhaka and El Nenny defensively this season. Our midfield is more balanced when he plays. I don't see anyone else willing to run and stick a foot in like he does. He is improving on the ball as well. unsung hero

I do think Coquelin-Xhaka might be better than Ramsey-Xhaka. But it depends on the team. For City, no way in hell we should start Ramsey-Xhaka. Coquelin has to be there considering KDB finds space like magic and Coquelin is perhaps the best in our team to close down danger.

Best DM we have - Only real DM we have. I notice he has become far more confident at long range passing which I am not sold on - he isn't bad but should really just be feeding to Xhaka, Santi, Ramsey or Elneny.

Truly underrated, not only in the football world but among Arsenal fans as well. He hasn't even been capped for France yet, which I find ridiculous.

He's rated just fine, I think. Great presser, but painfully limited on the ball and not someone you can rely on to get on the ball and keep possession flowing in the team. It's especially noticeable when we're struggling to keep the ball. We essentially end up playing with a one man midfield in those situations.

Xhaka tonight managed 33 forward passes, while Coquelin only managed 35 passes in total. That doesn't reflect well on Coquelin.
