wanted greece to go through right from their first game , for all their problems n all ,their country needed this ( plus my fascination with greek mythology bias) .. glad that they got it

and karagounis has to be one of the most lively and interesting characters in football , ronaldo should learn from him on how to lead a team ..

all i want to say and i dont want to sound childish again

but i believe everyone saw the penalty insident where karagounis fell down asking for a penalty
im not complaining cause we actually qualified
but its UNFAIR cause the referee gave a YELLOW card to karagounis who will miss the next match.. for an insident that was a penalty imo

its not that this will affect us. but is sad for the player missing probably his last international game which is so important..
sad just sad.

I didn't hide my support for Grecia one bit. Aside from Czech Rebublic (for Baros and Rozza), I truly hoped Greece would go through.

I never expected under the circumstances and their inconsistent performances that they would topple Russia (who clearly were the favourites) and end up reigning through.

Katsouranis is a beast , even after all these years. Best DM Greece has had in more than 20 years , who knows even more. In my opinion , he ll go down in history as the best ever Greek DM . He's a real leader too , he was captain or vice captain in every team he has played so far.

The new FIFA ruling is if two teams are equal on points, the game between the two teams overides goal difference. Greece beat Russia, they were both on 4 points, goal difference does not come into play.
