Congratulations Spain. You played better and deserved to go through.

Never expected Portugal to come this far (expected to be last on the group tbh Razz

), so I'm relatively happy.

And I want to give praise to Moutinho. He was imo the best Portugal player in the Euros :bow:

I remember 3 good actions from ronaldo:
1. good cross from left gathered by Iker
2. quick shot from right at near post
3. great throughball to almeide to wide left.

Other than that, failed hard. Repeatedly dispossesed by arbeloa, ramos, pique, alba. Was fouled hard a couple of times.

Spain played way better towards the end of normal time and in extra time. Pedro and Navas definitely made a difference. Spain don't really need all those midfielders. Also Alba did well bombing down the left flank all game. Overall Spain deserve it.

I think that this game is proof that the reason why Spain is playing so boring is because of Del Bosque. When Pedro and Navas came in Spain had alot more speed and width, the same happend against France....

I really dont like Del Bosque. If Spain wins the Euro, which they likely will, then it will be despite of Del Bosque, like it was at the WC, and because of the legends that this Spain team has..

Silva was awful, Pique was awful.

Spain were the better team and deserved to go thru.

Gotta give it to Portugal and Spanish defenses tonight. Both of them were excellent.

Gutted that Pepe and Coentrao are going home while having their best international performance upto date.

He was good. Don’t get me wrong. He even had CR in his pocket at some instances.
However a lot of his interventions seemed shaky to me. Unsure.
Maybe it was just me but he didn’t inspire confidence when he was clearing his area.
Again maybe it’s me. I always expect much from him

Think thumbs down is pretty out of bounds, especially seeing as you dont have Arbeloa on that list.

I didnt see anything shaky at all. Frankly he dominated back there.

I don’t have Arbeloa in the list simply because I do not expect anything from him.
You are right tough. Thumbs down was too much as he was solid defensively.
Still I insist that most time he was under pressure his clearances didn’t seem confident to me.
