CB will likely be one of Koulibaly, Manolas, Benatia or Stones.

Update:

Courtois
Cahill Koulibaly Zouma*
Willian Fabregas Kante Baba
Hazard
Costa Batshuayi

Or:

Courtois
Azpilicueta Koulibaly Zouma* Baba
Matic Kante
Willian Costa Batshuayi Hazard

*Once fit.

If we don't sign Kante, it'll probably be Witsel or Gomes.

I fully expect Sturridge to pick up some mid-to-long term injury at the Euros. And I don't think Klopp will immediately throw Karius into the starting XI even if he is intended to be our starting keeper before the end of the season. Phase him in, allow him to find his feet in cups and such, then bring him into the starting team after an injury or screw-up for Mignolet.

Enrique is gone, and Bogdan, Skrtel, Kolo, Allen, and Benteke look likely to follow for one reason or another, while several of the big names already out on loan don't appear to have much of a future either (Balotelli, Wisdom). Personally, I'd offer Kolo and Allen new deals but I don't think the former will be offered one and I doubt the latter would/will accept anyway, as he'll want to find somewhere he can start regularly. With that much experience leaving the squad I think we'll hold onto Lucas for at least one more season, especially since he now appears to be cover for both CDM and CB, which will be handy while Sakho is suspended (dear footballing gods please let that be only a 6 month suspension).

Grujic and Matip are already coming in and Klopp has stated that Markovic will be given the chance to prove himself upon his return from loan. Our primary targets according to basically all reports and especially reliable ones are: Karius, Chilwell/Back-up LB, Zielinski/Dahoud, and of course Matio Götze.

As for a big name or major signing (Götze or otherwise)... call me a pessimist or a skeptic or whatever but I'm not sure it'll materialize based on current evidence.

Mane in the line-up for "New," some other target for LB rather than Chilwell, and it's pretty well accurate.

Replace Euros with preseason and the odds will still be in my favor.

Keita Bald-----Morata/Kalinic/Simeone----Suso
Bonaventura-----Badelj-----Kessie
RicRod---Romagnoli--Musacchio---Calabria

Musacchio will get found out in his first 10 minutes, Kessie will dribble himself into dead end alleys and take 30 yard long shots every chance he gets, and when i say dribble, i mean fumbling with the ball and outpacing/outmuscling a defender. RicRod will 'hide' most of the time so people don't think he's shit. Kalinic will be Bacca 2.0.

Rojo's emerged as a monster at CB this season, finally fulfilling his potential. Guess what? Better than Varane, Pepe and that complete clown Ramos. (defensively)

Legit gonna be interesting to see our starting team next season.

Well, unless Wenger does a Wenger, then it's pretty much going to be the same.

Because we had a fully fit side for all of 5 weeks. And we still won the treble. What's your claim to fame this season you melt?

You mention the treble, but how decorated are those monster CBs of yours? hmm I don't remember the last time RM had a fully fit side, and I definitely don't remember them being placed 6th in the league. I don't think I'm prepared for a fully fit Man United with monster CBs and CMs.

I suppose it wouldn't be a complete waste for Lukaku to jump to the club that's going to place one spot above Everton this season, but why would Rose and Dier leave Tottenham? Serious question Laughing
