i dont think either of villa and song will start. too risky for a classico game.
i wonder how tito is feeling at the moment. too early to have such a big highly tensed match right after getting the new job....

I am disappointed by Valdes. He had some very good run, but he can never be the best when he constantly cost us stupid goals in games such as classico. I think i never saw Iker make such mistakes in importnat games.

I've seen Iker do mistakes like that, last weekend for instances.

Anyway, we were vastly superior to Madrid. They only had 2 chances, and scored them both. We conceded too many corners, and with our short team, they are bound to score sooner or later. Aside from that, our play was very good, and only Alexis was out of tune (and Iniesta in the first half, but then he was awesome).

We deserved to win 4-1, but 3-2 is what we get. The result is a pitty, but the play was very good and it shows we are a better team than Madrid currently and favourites for the second leg. We'll take it home IMO.

Actually i havent seen Iker do that in important matches. And Valdes is overconfident on risky situations, and this costs us.

I won't blame anyone but will just say it is heartbreaking that a near 4-1 changed to 3-2 in the blink of an eye. Anyone no matter how special can make a mistake and sometimes that mistake can be crucial. I am just glad that this didn't happen in a UCL knock out tie.

I would have perhaps written more and celebrated but for that incident. In a sombre mood let me end by saying that the nickname that the commentator repeatedly used was cool - Andres 'Happy Feet' Iniesta.

Valdes is better than Casillas in air balls. This time he just tried to play tiki taka against di maria and got owned

Well, there's a reason why Iker never makes any mistake with his feet: because he takes 0 risk because he is worse than me with his feet.

I'm very happy with the game. We basically anihilated them. A 4-1 was the fair result. Madrid can't cope playing open vs. us, especially if they are missing Pepe.

Ohh, and Pedro haters, where art thou? rofl

As has been the case since the Copa final in 2011 I did not watch the Clasico, I just can't handle it. I remain extremely calm when i'm not watching these two play so I have more belief that we will win, to the point of arrgance. So this victory does not come as a surprise, I will speed watch the game now since I recorded it on Sky and then give my opinion.

Oh, and Alexis is a piece of a diver....
I have nothing against divers, it's fine to me to dive, but unlike Madrid, refs don't whistle penalty dives to us, so he should cut it a bit and try to play.

I am so happy for Pedro, it is good to have his old self back.

Alexis - i am starting to get annoyed by him as much as i am annoyed by Di Marias diving.

Hopefully MVP will be back for the next super copa game.

I'm not too worried about this result as Barcelona outplayed them, regardless of the scoreline, it looks good for future more important clasicos.

Also I find I'm disliking Sanchez the more I watch him play.

I think we can definitely win or at least draw at the Barcabeu. I am overjoyed with Pedro so far this season. He really has come back and shown why he is a must in our starting 11. Disappointed by Messi but it's really hard to be mad at him for long.

Alexis has been annoying me for a while. He needs to be more confident.

Iniesta and Pedro

Jumping on with freecat... Done with defending Alexis... Unless he improves drastically and rather quickly I don't think I'll ever like him. Guy has pissed me off for too long now. Bring back Villa pronto.

Oh and Afellay and DS are clearly on the out. Tito keeps picking my boys Tello and Sergi Very Happy

Alexis is seriously getting me annoyed. His dribbling is so poor and always kept on losing the ball to Conentrao. When Pedro was placed on Conentrao's wing, he kept on confusing him and made him look like a 5 year old. Messi was clearly more superior than Ronaldo. Apart from the goal, Ronaldo was nowhere in that game...
Iniesta was seriously . So good to watch Xaviniesta in the middle...
Pedro was
Busquests was very good though should have done better with the corner. Clearly we need to concede less corners as our short defense will not cope.
Pique and Mascherano had good game
Valdes had a really good game but then . Thought he was Messi and tried something tricky and costed us a goal.
We can win. No doubt about it though it would have been better if won 3-1 than 3-2. A draw is all for need and we haven't lost a single game at the Bernabeu under Guardiola. Lets hope the same with Tito.

Sanchez was awful today but how was that a dive on the penalty before Ronaldo's goal?

Alexis couldn't dribble round a table, he's bloody hopeless 1v1.

Well yeah harhar. That looks quite dodgy and I thought that decision was rough, but he has only himself to blame. Refs know he's a diver now.

The thing with Sanchez is when he approaches a defender you know what he's going to do. He knocks the ball, with a poor touch, to the side of the defender, struggles to get to it and then all of a sudden one of his legs seizes up and locks in place so he has no decision but to fall down like a dead fish. It doesn't even look convincing. At least Di Maria is talented at diving lol

On a more serious note... I've seen Alexis play well, but f*** me... Can't really see him ever being a superstar with us... 2 years down the line I hope we've got Pedro/Tello - Messi/Rafinha/Dongou? - Neymar/Deulofeu

I think the person most keenly aware of Valdes mistake is Valdes himself.
