Barcelona vs Real Madrid discussion.
Sunday 7th October.
Real Madrid drew 4-4 on aggregate against Barcelona in the Super Cup back in August, however won on away goals.
Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2-1 on 21st April 2012 away.
Real Madrid lost 3-1 to Barcelona at the Bernabeu on 10th December 2011.

coentrao has been always very good against barca
we need to have the best possible defence
and im saying defence, marcelo offers more upfront
but i really dont trust him against barca as you saw in the last game he did quite a few mistakes thank god iker was there
plus its not like coentrao is bad offensively, he is very good too..

Have you seen Marcelo in the SuperCup ? He created 3 chances for Higuain/CR that could have finished easily. He's better offensively by a long,long shot and on the same level deffensivley.

in supercup he failed to track back twice, and he could cost the game in the last minutes if not for iker's save
i know other than his impressive actions in the final third he can as well drive the ball from our defence without wasting possession but coentrao can do that as well
even if coentrao is only Slightly better defensively ill take it
you need your best possible defence cause i think we will manage to score with or without marcelo
we just need to not concede
if mou is thinking the same way and if coentrao not playing last games cause of his ban isnt a factor for his presence on the pitch that day then i believe he will start
and will get subbed in marcelo later in the game for either a comeback or just fresh legs and counter game

If Mou plays Ramos as RB against Ajax, then I can see him playing as a RB against Barca.
Although not sure if he'll play a 3 man midfield or the usual 4-2-3-1
either way 4-3-3

Hope Khedira rests against Ajax like he usually does pre-clasicos
Also wouldn't be surprised if we saw Benzema from start in both Ajax and Clasico
The rest of the line-up is pretty much the same as always, don't think Mou will field Essien, because we aren't the ones with the 8 point lead, we need to win this game at all costs, although Ozil might see himself on the bench if he hasn't got a tremendous performance against Ajax, we might actually see Modric as an AM again

I can't choose between Benzema and Higuain. benzema offers more overall but Higuain's runs can really hurt Barca's defence.

modric would a better option than ozil, but ozil would be better option than di maria (at least against barcelona)
essien helps keep the ball and provides physicality .. (not as much as khedira due to injuries)
Ramos is unreliable on the RB, he will get skinned by tello LOL arb provides solidity.

he has been a genius at instigating the counter and running at defender. he will start
di maria is mourinhos work horse, he help out arbeloa at defending and his attacking is great as well
i think there will be no suprises, same starting eleven as the super copa.
higuain will start benzema will come on just like the super copa win

You're forgetting that they'll have more possession than they ever will without a defensive adept player beside Alonso. How do you suppose to protect our back four with that line-up? Messi will have a field day spraying through balls to their wide players with Marcelo and Coentrao as our defensive cover.
You don't play two attacking Fullbacks especially with the other one out of position just for the sake of an Hollywood looking line-up.
The last time we played we Dominated them in the first half but we only managed to score two and they were playing with 10 men half the time. What makes you think we'll do better this time?
And yes we will probably score but i doubt we will win.
This is not FIFA. Even in FM that line up will probably fail.
Let us be realistic here.
