Re: Barça B highlights.
We broke our bad momentum and won 1-0. Dominated the whole mathc. Deulofeu was suspended. Rafinha with a great goal where he dribles 2 players with his "terrible" first touch.

Re: Barça B highlights.
I am sure he can improve his stamina.
Eating well and working hard can give you decent stamina. I think he just doesn't try in training and stuff, like you said.

Tonykross will like this, dongou scoring a very nice goal!
We are back in track again with 7 points out of the last 9, 11 points clear off Castilla (only 4 points above relegation zone).
Deulofeu is 2nd top scorer with 18 goals in only 1.693 minuts plus 5 assists. If he was playing every game he could have 30 + goals.

Re: Barça B highlights.
Two defeats in a row. We could have tied vs. Huesca but Lomban missed a penalty. The B was very weakeend because of internationals.

Re: Barça B highlights.
Barça B playing vs Numancia right now. 0-0 at minute 22 but they are dominating clearly and we are playing badly.

Re: Barça B highlights.
We're playing absolutely awfully. Misplacing passes, miscontrolling balls. I can't tell how bad the field is, but to me it seems like it's probably a bad field.
Or we're just getting everything wrong. I'm also finding our excessive use of long balls annoying.

Re: Barça B highlights.
I thought we looked better at the end and Deulo and Alberto had two decent efforts in succession, and we did much better with the ball, but we still didn't look too great.
Overall a pretty dire first half of football. Nearly fell asleep, but I also took the ACT today so I'm exhausted.

Re: Barça B highlights.
WHAT A GOAL! Instant impact from Araujo, was that his first touch of the game? Impact sub!
Masip (that is the name of the goalkeeper yeah?) collects the ball in the box and immediately punts a beautiful ball all the way down to Araujo who lobs it over the onrushing Numancia goalkeeper from an impressive distance out.
Keeper with the assist! Barca up 1-0!

Re: Barça B highlights.
FT 1-0.
Can't say it was the best game I've seen and I doubt it's the best game Barca B have ever played, but they got the 3 points and that's all that matters.
Brilliant punt though...still can't get over that assist. So perfect.

Masip is extremely good with his feet. He was signed by Barça at a very early age... as a field player! However he wanted to keep playing for his hometown team and eventually became a GK, to be later signed again by Barça this time as a GK.

Re: Barça B highlights.
He looked decent with his hands but nothing special. How good of a goalkeeper is he? I haven't watched Barca B much this season, something I want to rectify.
But yeah even besides the punt, I was very impressed with his ability on the ball. He was calm and made several good passes under pressure to keep the ball so we could play it out of the back. It was good stuff to watch.
Also, the Luis Alberto ball to Rafinha (I believe it was) who headed it and just barely got it saved was a very close to a goal Dani Alves scored vs Malaga in the 08-09 season. Too bad it didn't go in. I found a video of it Alves' goal.
Hope to be watching more of Barca B

Again a tie. We've been very average all these weeks without Deulofeu.

Re: Barça B highlights.
Castilla catching up slowly but surely despite their first experience in segunda. Next season they'll be rolling on top of Barça B for sure.
Jesé already on cruise control to win mini-pichichi.

Like it matters that it's their first season in segunda. We finished 3rd in our first season in segunda.
They are cathing up because they had to recall their "promoted" players like Morata and Nacho to save their asses. If we had recalled Montoya, Dos Santos, Tello, Cuenca and Bartra we would be 20 points clear of them.
Plus, we've been very meh lately, mostly because Deulofeu is all the time called up for the first team.

Re: Barça B highlights.
I am a life long Boca supporter (despite how shit we are) and I don't understand polygamy. I can't support a team other than Boca, hell I can go within a match wanting one team to win and then change based on what happens on the pitch!
Watching Barcelona in the past few years has been a delight though, I don't think any football fan can deny that. Watching them also confirmed the many perceptions I had about football and also shed lights to their bound flaws. In that sense I've been more a follower than a supporter. Another reason for me following teams is Argentine players, so I follow Madrid just as much because of di María and Higauín (in fact Madrid have always had a bigger Argentinian base than Barça) as well as Inter, Atlético and Valencia etc. As a kid, I liked Valencia a lot, so they're perhaps the closest thing to a team I supported other than Boca (Ayala, Aimar, Kily González, Claudio López...damn those were the days )
Of course I have a very emotional attachment to the city of Barcelona (being grown up there) and I always thought them not having a sponsor on their shirt was an extraordinary thing for a top club. The latter is unfortunately lost.

Re: Barça B highlights.
Lemme guess... Madrid fans gonna use Jese's goal tally to say he's better because we're giving Deulo a chance with the first team
Then Jese to leave this summer and Deulo to earn promotion.
