This pretty much dispels the myth that Hodgson has no balls and that he doesn't like to attack.

England showed more then Grit, Steel and Marmite today as they showed the grace and technique of fine tuned flemenco dancer.

Any England hater can GTFO because what we saw here was Hodgson's true tactical nous and genius.

DDR was completely dominated by Cleverely while Carrick made Pirlo look like Borja Valero. Bonnuci and Chellini were terrorized by the Fresh Prince of Manchester and Carroll while Criscito was marred by Lennon.

Completely outplayed the Italians.

Wayne Roonay showed that he is back and finally performing for England as his leader-like performance cemented his armband permanently for England.

Espana & Germany will take note of this as I for one am very envious.

Roy Hodgson has to be one of the best managers of our time.

God save their Queen

Just seen this lmao what a post

I have never seen Italy play so amateurish. It looked like a bunch amateurs out there. The only thing this Azzurri team has in common with the team that eliminated Germany in the Euros is the kit.

Italy should sack their manager, utter disgrace of a performance even Cahill had a go at goal at some point. tells you all really

Also Balo only getting one shot on goal, really where was his storming off at the end it would have marked a shat performance by him

Also Hart best Goalie in the world, conceded 5 less goals than Bufoon, say no more

GTFO Ronaldo/Missi Roonay should win the Ballon d'or what an performance by him, he was so dominant he had the luxury of missing some 1v1's as well

Man U also showed why they are the best club in the world, Welbeck  Rooonaaayyy  two goals each
