They aren't as good as Malaga...

Malaga are 4th in league. Milan 7th.

Malaga dominated their group, then hit cruise control.

I agree....Malaga proved it over the two legs and somehow i got the feeling that if Malaga would have been drawn vs them in knockout, they could be worthy of winner.
However i think lately they changed a little....some good performance in serie A, so who knows if they turn around in CL.

I'm aware you don't watch many of their games but if you did, you'd notice all his build up plays start from the spot where a DM has to guard. Just check highlight videos, you sure are eager to disagree with everything I say lol

Perhaps if you watched the games instead of highlights you would know what your saying is rubbish.

He dosnt take up the same positions as Ozil, just stop.

But Malaga are untested under the bright lights and pressure of the Knockout stages.

In the group they done well, they started the season off much better, but it likely will be a different story come Jan/Feb.

So Milan it is. I'm honestly not worried. This Milan differs quite a lot from the last Milan we faced. No more Zlatan, Silva and Seedorf etc.. As long as we are not missing half the team due to injuries or some crap like that and we look defensively sound like the last couple of games, we should be able to win this. Although I do believe the second game is a few days after el clásico right?

El Shaarawy is a great player, but still young and witouth international experience (1992).

Compared to last year there are no more (great player):

Nesta
Thiago Silva
Zambrotta
Van Bommel
Gattuso
Aquilani
Seedorf
Inzaghi
Ibrahimovic
Cassano
(Robinho) ---> Most likely to leave in winter
(Pato) --->most likely to leave in winter.

So in other words we lack the experience, guile and skill our team once had to augment us in the champions league.

Yes there is Montolivo who has been excellent for Italia and Milan. Then there is Abate, a very complete and impressive 20 year old De sciglio, SES then Bojan (who combines very well with SES. But this draw is dead rubber and a stepping stone for Barca.

And SES isn't a winger as Allegri's 433 involves inside forward roles similar to that of an SS. His play comes down wide through the left as then he drifts into the centre to dribble and occasionally playmake from that position while our LB takes a Mezzala position. His role is full of freedom hence why he is so effective in all aspects so far.

Robinho and Pato bound to leave in winter??
And no one would come to replace them? Milan's forward line would be Bojan - Pazzini - SES??

To be honest I cant see Milan keeping up with us.They've lost too much quality and they cant keep up with us physically..The Pharoah will cause us much trouble with our shite defence but their's is even worse;Messi against Bonera/Yepes/Mexes/Zapata doesnt look too good.
But all that is just talk I expect it to be much harder on the pitch against the 7-time European champions.

Really I'm happy to dodge Shakhtar. I'm very confident of a win against Milan and I see this as a fairly easy progression into the quarterfinals. We'll see how they are later, but I can't see them posing too much of a threat.

A good draw. Could have been better, could have been worse.

Yeah, Shakhtar was the most difficult possible opponent hands down. They will likely park the bus but their squad has been weakened severely. This is not going to be a walk in the park, but we really should win this realistically speaking.

I guess it will do, im not exactly happy.

Milan lack quality compared to previous sides, but the fact they where those shirts means something.

They lack the quality from last season however even quality players haven't done enough to stop Barca. This Milan may surprise us and park the bus, playing on the counter...
We will see

100% spot on. The very same thought came to my head. The key is treating every opponent with due respect.

BTW the ManU vs. Real and BayM vs. Ars are also both fantastic clashes. For years it wouldn't have happened that the six most traditional super powers of the UCL would all be drawn against each other as early as the round of 16. These three clashes will shape the destiny of the entire tournament.
