COD4 maps were all different to each other. A map in snow, a map for sniping ( like highrise in MW2 ), a map in the rain, a map for rushing, a tactical map where you can't rush or camp. The scenery in most maps was so good as well.

You would fall in love with the guns instantly. Everyone had their own special guns they would prefer. You actually felt the guns in your controller. It was that emotionally gripping. My controller felt heavy when i used a Heavy Machine Gun

I think Ghosts is the end of my COD obsession. Doubt i'll ever buy a COD game again. Unless you like it Thimmy

Agree, COD 4 is one of the greatest FPS ever both in terms of SP and MP. A real game changer, it is to this generation what Golden Eye and Half Life 2 was on their respective gens.

the love for COD4 here makes me proud, it was and is the greatest FPS....can still go back and have fun in that game....my friends and I still compare all COD's to that game.....they have ruined COD now with all the crap they have brought in, the simplicity made COD4 so great, it took actual gun skill to be good at that game and practice
