Gamestop.co.uk or something..I saw them at this price leading up to the launch(couple of months ago) and also saw they were doing it today

I was thinking about ordering one from the US since it's something like £250 when converted, but if it's anything like when I order my trainers from footlocker US you end up paying a bunch of tax at delivery so you dont really end up saving, plus with all these reported problems I don't want to have to wait weeks if my console dies.

Yeh even if Argos etc do any deals, it'll only be like £20 cheaper. That gamestop one doesn't arrive until Christmas apparently.

I got about a tenner when I ordered my PS3 I think

then you can put that towards a game, even though I think they're charging like 50 or 55 for games there

I just hope I can find one at launch

I'm going to sell my games, think I'll keep my PS3 because there's a game I want that comes out only for that in a few months problem is I don't like going back to old consoles when I have a new one

Especially you MT, it's pretty much a fact you'll spend over £400 just to play COD and FIFA on the next gen until more games come out.

I usually only mainly play those 2 games anyway. FIFA's better next gen and CoD has a few improvements too. Also I can't see the price dropping by the time new games come out.

Yeah I went through a couple of years where all I played were COD and FIFA.

The only thing that is putting me off is all these PS4's breaking down, but a warranty from a good shop should be a simple return and swap.

Also I'm looking forward to streaming our PS4 club sessions with the PS4 record/stream features.

I was watching a FIFA PS4 stream though and it didn't look any different besides a few things like players coming to collect the ball to take the corner like they do for throw ins now

actually you are wrong tom, I have BF4 and fifa 14 for my ps4 played it on ps3, there's a BIG BIG difference, you can be in front of the net and shoot and the ball takes a dip and slight curler and miss esp if the player used his weaker foot its not even funny, the contact and tackling engine is so true, players avoid tackles when its coming, reactions are better..... game is fluid.....

a player who is very skilled like Ronaldo, Ibra, Messi, Tevez etc will make automatic skill sometimes if you pass them the ball and they have space say flick it before passing it it to a team mate in case you hit pass etc

its really diff and better

in bf4 difference is mostly the big leap in graphics


on the downside:
in fifa i felt like in Ult Team, fans of home side celebrate even when away side scores thought they fixed it...

and in an online seasons, I played one guy and had to quit cos I couldn't see the ball on the pitch and ea gave me a loss....

but it has not happened again so....

A lot of those changes aren't really 'next gen' improvements though

EA didn't need ps4 software to make players take a decent first touch or miss with their weak foot. All seems negligable to me, and considering the games i'd end up getting atm are games i've got on ps3, it doesn't warrant me splashing out 400 quid

My console is flawless
Apparently one of the best buys (old manager I know) told me they had gotten and sold exactly 109 and had 3 returned due to issues. Still have my fingers crossed because you never know.

I love using the companion app on my phone. I was playing Ghosts and during the game while I was waiting to spawn, I ordered Resogun and it began to download and install all while I was playing and I did it right from my phone

I'm only really playing fifa 14 and ghosts atm I haven't given Resogun a try though.

And despite my opinions before on "fifa next gen". I was blown away by it. It is surreal a huge improvement no doubt. Can't wait to see what Fifa 15 brings to the table
