I wasn't going to get this but considering how Gears has disappointed me and how f*cking brilliant it sounds i'm going to have to cop myself some.

Hopefully it wows me as much as Bioshock did and not the disappointment Bioshock 2 was.

Single player FPS with amazing stories and worlds with fantastic atmosphere >>>>>>>>>>

yeah this one should be amazing.

didnt really like BIOSHOCK 2 that much (for some reason the word BIOSHOCK needs to be all caps IMO).

This game has got rave reviews all over the place and the ecclectic feel this game has makes me really want to play. i am very excited.

Strong candidate for the GOTY, its metacritic is currently standing at 95%.

The reviewers note many issues with the console platform, best is to get it on PC imo

Alright I'm going to get the PC version then.

Can't wait. I didn't finish the 2nd one, or play much of it at all. Early reviews are sounding like this ones a lot better.

Yeah if your PC is powerful enough you should go straight for the PC version.

The first is supposedly a must play

Infinite is standalone though, no need to play the previous from a story perspective.

My friends have Bioshock 1 and 2 so I will have the option playing both if need be.

I saw the trailer for this game and it seemed very interesting and worth giving a shot.

Bioshock 1 is one of the best games of this generation as far as i'm concerned...

The gameplay, story and setting was absolute perfection.... don't rush through it though as the best thing about it is the story and the atmosphere of the setting.

Not many games nail these things in a single player FPS.

Bioshock 2 was meh but was made by a different dev team....

I'm hoping Bioshock Infinite deal a similar type of impact that the first did to me.

All the reviews seem to say that it will.

Thankfully, the dev team from the original Bioshock are behind Bioshock Infinite. I really can't wait to get my hands on this game Thumbs up

This game is absolutely EPIC so far. The atmosphere alone is amazing, I took an extra long time in the beginning just going around and looking at everything.

Basically its an FPS which has an emphasis on storyline and the immersive factor. Its not in the same mould as BF or CoD, an example would be kinda like Half Life or maybe even Metro

I absolutely loved him as Kanji in Persona 4, and seeing him in Bioshock made me wet myself

Metroid Prime Trilogy is another FPS which i loved for similar reasons to Bioshock.

Although a lot less people would have played that as it was on Gamecube/Wii.

Just finished it..wow. A gorgeous, exceptionally satisfying journey of mindf*ckery.

I was staring at my screen for at least three minutes after it ended, no game has left me that way.

10/10

Will go down as one of the greats.
