Goddam Proud Dem feels. Used to sing it out loud at the beginning of every episode.

It was you're right. That's what I used to sing at the beginning of every episode.

But You'll never leave Harlan alive used to be played a lot as well. I liked it more than Long Hard Times.

Me too. Great ending though.

I was just thinking about watching it all again from the beginning. Those earlier seasons were amazing.

I don't miss it because it ended well and in a "perfect" amount of seasons....which allows for watching it over the way it was meant to be watched.

One of the all time GOAT's

OMG fantastic show. I wish I haven't seen it yet so I could watch it now.

Walton Goggins as Boyd being one of my favourite performances from an actor

yeah, it had one of the best endings I've seen in a TV show. Still miss main man Raylan being a G though. Wouldn't mind a special or two. And agreed with Myesyats, Goggins is a GOAT level actor. He was ridiculously good in The Shield too.

Just binged the first season. Fantastic.

Like the Wire, (which is now in my top 3) it took a few episodes for me to really sink my teeth into it but I'm hooked now. Watched it initially because the premise seemed mildly interesting and I loved Walton Goggins in Sons of Anarchy and was interested to see him as the Joker type character he appeared to be in the show.

Timothy Olyphant is such a great actor. Plays his role low-key but can bring fire to any scene at the drop of a dime. The atmosphere is really well-built and the cast is very, very good. Glad I started it.

Season 1 is easily the weakest IMO so if you thought that was fantastic you're in for the GOAT ride

Season 2 is a contender for best season of all time in a show IMO

Nah season 1 is not the weakest. Season 5 is the weakest.

Re: Justified

Post by MJ on Wed Apr 05, 2017 9:57 pm

Thanks, fellas.

Since I finished season 1 last night, I've watched more than half of season 2.

So much better than the first season.

My mother's entire side of the family is from the South so I love how well they portray Kentucky. Mags as the villain in season 2 is just great. Was hoping a cliche Aryan badass wouldn't step in to be the generic "new" villain after Bo Crowder bit the dust.

What they're doing with Goggins' character is awesome. It seemed like they were headed down a very clear path with him as the hateful, Joker type who uses a veneer of devoutness to fool everyone when in reality he's been genuinely torn.

I find it hard to believe that Winona left Raylan for Sleepy Gary.

Art is hilarious. I remember a scene in the first season when they were driving with an art collector around the time Raylan was screwing Ava against Art's wishes.

The art collector suggested something and Raylan goes "I'd honestly rather stick my dick in a blender"

Art casually replies "Yeah, that'd solve a few problems." Laughing

Might need to slow down so I don't run out prematurely.

Ugh! Winona just pissed me off, but that's one of the great things about the show. It didn't make every thing rosey dosey and lovely for Raylan. Raylan isn't your typical hero, just as Boyd isn't your typical villain. Boyd's arc over the whole series is so amazing.

Yea. Art is a badman Laughing even the stone cold ex military cop whose desk is next to Raylan's has some glorious lines. Forgot his name.

I know I'm not James, but I am on S06E05 of Mad Men at the moment. Personally feel the quality has dropped a bit after season 3 (after they left their original offices) Think that was end of season 3 hmm

Still good though, with some great moments in between.

Season 6 was the weakest tbh but the finale is among the best episodes of the show. I loved season 7.
