If someone offered me 50m at this second I would take it and wouldn't think twice. His stupidity just hurts too much right now.

6-10 games rofl

Try double that, at least. They'll be very harsh on him knowing it'd not the first time. I doubt you'll see him play this year!

Biting<Racism. 6-10 is something Terry should have got.

Last minute goal felt good, looking at those chelsea faces. Anyways I would sell him next window, This club has an image.

Please provide evidence of Terry's racism.

Got none? Thats a shame.

He'll be banned for a long time.

With the way the FA is operating it could be anything between 0 and 20 games, honestly. Just takes a linesman to say he saw part of the incident and they won't take retrospective action.

But it's not the length of Suarez's possible ban that's on my mind, it's the fact that he keeps doing this stuff and this was his worst yet in a Liverpool shirt and he just doesn't learn. It was the second time in his career he has bitten someone ffs!

No doubt we're stronger with him in the team, but it has gotten to a point where we have to consider our club's image. Right now, I don't think I want him gone, but it'd be hard not to breath a certain kind of relief if he does get sold.

Mind you, despite what he says in public, I'm not convinced he doesn't want himself joining a CL side this summer.

*bleep* it, if the FA ban him for longer then the racism ban their sending a wrong message about their priorities. Keep him, i still love him.

SELL SUAREZ ???!!! = LOWER-HALF MEDIOCRITY.

did Ferguson sell Cantona after the kick? or Schmeichel after racism? or Rooney after cheating on his wife? or Giggs after cheating on his brother?

no no no.

We are a football club. not a Human affection club.

What he did was very, very stupid. He is 26 and should be expected to refrain from sinking (and taking the club) that low. However, if we are ready to be thrilled by his sublime skills we should also be ready to face such incidents.

What he did was wrong and should get strict punishment (from the club). But the notion of selling him is whimsical. However, we must get another forward since his punishment (by FA) may run into next season as well.

If he doesn't take the punishments (FA and LFC) with due grace, only then we may consider selling him.

anyways its a tough thing about him, I dont think you should sell him, hes your striker and your best player and is bangin in the goals. But the FA will give him at least an 8 match ban, probably more.

Nothing. Stupid mistake, and he makes several of them, but footie players aren't my role models - and he's a good guy off the pitch anyway. Punish him and make VERY certain it won't happen again, and then move on. My opinion on his sale hasn't changed at all - at an exorbitant price, go for it, otherwise f*** off.

Liverpool Football Club has the following response to the incident that occurred during today's game at Anfield:

Luis Suarez said: "I am deeply sorry for my inexcusable behaviour earlier today during our match against Chelsea.

"I have issued an apology and have tried to contact Branislav Ivanović to speak to him personally. I apologise also to my manager, playing colleagues and everyone at Liverpool Football Club for letting them down."

The club's managing director Ian Ayre commented: "Luis has made an unreserved apology for his actions today.

"His behaviour is not befitting of any player wearing a Liverpool shirt and Luis is aware that he has let himself and everyone associated with the club down. We will deal with the matter internally and await any action from the FA."

Brendan Rodgers added: "Having reviewed the video footage and spoken to Luis, his behaviour is unacceptable and I have made him aware of this."

I agree. It's just that I haven't got faith that this was his last stupid action on the pitch. I mean, it's not even the first time he's bitten someone. He just never, ever learns. This would be much easier to shrug off if it could be looked at as an unexpected controversial incident, but I honestly think he'll get in trouble for doing something needless and stupid in a football game again next season.

Still don't want to sell him, though, he's the best player in the league, but can't say my opinion on him is not affected by all this.

Re: What to do with suarez now

I'm going to be honest. I'm really scared about Rodgers quotes.

The "anybody is replaceable" makes me quite curious about if we'll offload him in the summer.

Everybody knows that I love Suarez as a player. I've watched 'em since his Ajax days, and I still didn't "hate" him after his antics in Holland. I am really disapointed for his actions today, but to sell him would just be absurd. I've said this a while ago. He is simply, our Cantona. Again, I can't defend his actions today, but to sell him would be absurd. He loves the club, and I honestly don't know what was going through his head at the time.

His baggage aside, he's arguably one of the top 3 attackers in the world at the moment. He's the only one in this team that has a winning mentality. He's one of the few in the team that shows passion, commitment and we really should build the team around him if we want to get out of this mid-table slump. He is simply, too good to let go.
