To be fair, I don't care too much about him and his future. He isn't a Man United player anymore and everytime I'll hear his name I will feel bad that he left. Sad

Januzaj is not playing.

After 10 mins it is 2-0 for Man United, Wilson (3') and Pearson (9') scored after two errors made by Leverkusen's defenders and GK.

Half-time: 2-2

They deserved to score because the goals we scored were too lucky. Very good counter-attacking game shown by Leverkusen.

However, they were also lucky to score 2 goals (Brasnic). Very very lucky at the first goal and the 2nd one was a mistake made by one of our defenders, Ioannou.

We had some big opportunities to take the lead again...we played better overall. Pearson, Pereira, Grimshaw and Wilson. Proud

They have some interesting players like: Brasnic and Nguendong.

Brasnic is their topscorer in the U19 German League.

Final score: 4-3 Proud Absolutely amazing. I am proud of my fav team again.

Wilson scored the winner goal and his 2nd today in the 89'th minute from the penalty spot.

Don't forget that we played the last 15 minutes in 10 man after McNair got a 2nd yellow card.

Congratulations Nicky Butt for your first win! Very Happy

Powell, Lingard and Henriquez are all having great loan spells, bagging in goals and seeing some game time.

Henriquez is Real Zaragozas top scorer with 5 goals and 3rd on team in minutes played....they are calling him the New David Villa in Spain Proud

Manchester United youngsters Andreas Pereira and Charni Ekangamene are hoping to follow in the footsteps of Adnan Januzaj and make David Moyes' starting line-up.

Andreas Pereira wrote:
Next year I would like to join the first squad in preseason. That's my objective. If I succeed in it, I'll be happy.

Charni Ekangamene wrote:Two weeks ago I got a message that I had to be ready. They expected me in the players' hotel for the game against Aston Villa. Phil Neville called me and confirmed I was part of the squad. Finally, I wasn't on the bench, but it was still a positive experience.

Manchester United are signing Swiss sensation Dimitri Oberlin Mfomo in the summer – and beating a host of European giants for the teen star, writes Alan Nixon in the Sunday People. The 16-year-old attacking midfielder is choosing Old Trafford as his current deal at FC Zurich runs out.  Swiss youth sensation Mfomo can move for a low compensation fee and United will offer him an attractive package to join. wrote:

More about the kid.

1) Mfomo is a 16-year-old Swiss-born attacking midfielder who currently plays for FC Zurich under-18s. If that club sounds familiar, it is because United signed another starlet, Saidy Janko, from Zurich last summer. Janko has since impressed for United’s under-21 side and is tipped for a big future at the club. wrote:

2) While Mfomo is predominantly an attacking midfielder he can also operate either as a second striker or as a loan target man. wrote:

3) The teenager has seven caps for Switzerland’s under-15s, for whom he has scored two goals. He also has three caps for his country’s under-16s, and has netted on one occasion. wrote:

4) United were one of a number of top clubs who have been monitoring the player, but despite that considerable interest it is being reported that he has chosen Old Trafford as his next destination. wrote:

Another Wonder kid.

reportedly we snatched him from under the nose of our cross town rivals Proud

Heres a youtube link for people who want to take a closer look

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYbsdLd0-hE&feature=player_embedded

He played in the blue stars cup against united last season where we spotted Janko playing for Zurich who won the tournament. He came on as a striker in the final and looked strong and pacey playing 3 years above his age group. Hes the lad making the run and shot at 43:25

I also hope Janko or Varela can break into the first team. We really need a back-up RB.

Fosu-Mensah making waves at Manchester United

Timothy Fosu-Mensah could not have picked a better time to enter the conciousness of Manchester United supporters.

Ahead of the club's pre-season tour plans being announced, the Dutchman has cemented his status as one of the hottest prospects in the Reds' academy setup.

And he will hope that fortunate timing sees him rewarded with a place on that summer trip and a chance to impress Louis van Gaal.

Fosu-Mensah's reputation has grown significantly in the aftermath of an impressive performance against City's Under-18s team.

With Reds starved of action prior to a 4pm Sunday kick-off, plenty paid attention to what was essentially a 'mini-derby' aperitif played at Altrincham a day earlier.

Understandably, they could not help but be impressed by the graceful figure dominating at the back for United as they won 1-0.

Amsterdam-born Fosu Mensah was key to that, and it is quite clear that he is not just rated by outside observers of United.

The 17-year-old was an unused substitute during the Under-21s' 3-2 win over West Ham at Leigh Sports Village last week - a move that potentially hints at the Reds' plans for him next season.

If the coaches at the club want to truly test the young defender out, then moving him up an age group and out of his comfort zone could be the way forward.

A likely summer exit for Tom Thorpe could also provide a convenient vacancy in that regard.

Guillermo Varela ready to make Manchester United breakthrough after season on loan at Real Madrid

>He was sent on loan to Real Madrid's B Team last season and was included in the first team's Champions League squad.
>Varela excelled in Madrid, playing 33 games last season.

Perhaps we wont need a new RB ? hmm
Let's see what he can do if he goes to Pre season. With LvG at the helm rest assured there will always be opportunities for youngsters if they show potential unlike someone like a mourinho. Smile

Manchester United have won the race for highly rated FC Zurich youngster Nishan Burkart, who will link up with the Red Devils in the summer.

No longer will his stay at Zurich last however, as the youngster's father has confirmed his son's impending switch to Old Trafford.

Stefan Burkart told Swiss daily Blick, when confirming that a new contract with Zurich had been unable to be agreed: "We have therefore decided to leave the club in the summer.

Nishan switches to Manchester United", he continued.
And the young striker's father insists there is no bitterness towards Zurich, adding: "He just has different ideas, that's what business is like."
