Conte just gave the least convincing pre-match brief on Costa I have ever heard.

"Injury" okay, lol.

@Demon and @hala

I wasnt trying my hand at a dik measuring competition like you guys. Pepe has stopped being dirty now? Lol who cares.
It doesnt change the fact that like Costa he was one of the scummiest persons playing football and have done nasty things on the football field. And by your logic, Suarez is also a nice guy now as he hasnt done anything controversial in a while?

And why the hell is Demon going into each and every detail of my post like his life depends on it?
I hate Madrid, I am not denying it. But you are dissecting that post and reading way too much into it. You yourself know what I meant when I said nonone's standing upto the big teams the way Costa used to do and that point had nothing to do with Atletico's resurgence of the last 4 years. I will rephrase it if thats what you want. Noone's frustrating you and acting like a pain in the arse after Costa. Thats what I meant by standing up. Not standing up as in matching you in games.

Anyway I strongly believe I have made myself clear. Now the last thing I want to do on a perfectly good weekend night is to go on arguing who among Costa and Pepe is less evil. :facepalm:  FFS!

And @demon if I sounded like I was defending Costa through my posts here its really depressing a prospect for me. Let me just say thats not what I was intending to achieve when I decided to reply to your initial post.

Suarez just punched a keeper in the face just 2 gamss ago. Suarez' problem is mental. I dont think he realises what he has done until after he has done it. What Costa does is premeditated. He spends 89 mins of the game on the ground whinging, kicking out in frustration and trying to intimidate the ref. No team has a player like that

Just to i don't know, support Costa I guess you mention 2 players in our team that dont and have never acted like he does. There is a difference between a tough defender and a straight up cnut. If you ask Costa who the worst defenders he has faced are he will tell you its Pepe/Ramos an its not surprising that most of his manic episodes came against us. He was dropped by VDB because he couldn't get his behaviour in order. He has mostly stayed on the good side this season but he is a ticking time bomb.

They would. Cant get caught tapping up a guy who was in the middle of wrapping up a title chase. He will be confirmed sometime next month from what I reckon.

A storybook ending if Chelsea win the double.

He entered an enigma from Spain, a young firebrand who set the world on fire by leading his side to a league title over the best player of all time and the best side of all time. He leaves for China as someone who is, whether anybody likes his style or not, the BEST STRIKER IN THE WORLD.

I remember many people saying his success in Spain was purely the system at Atletico which produced other great strikers such as Torres, Aguero, and Falcao.

No question now though. He is legit, and has potential to be the world's biggest football talent in China in terms of marketing. His future is bright. Smile
