If we go by Le Sam logic, then Raul deserves a call up.

System CF just like Pedro was a system wide forward.

As soon as Simeone leaves or he joins someone who needs more from him as an individual he will go back to shit.

It will be a glorious day Proud

Not really. Falcao has played in 4 contrasting systems and has excelled everywhere he has been. He is legitimately world class with exceptional abilities.

He's perfectly suited to how Simeone plays....

Has tremendous work rate, very high energy and never gives defenders a moments rest.

But in teams who play more possession he's not technically skilled enough to be effective and would give the ball away more than he would score.

For example he would flop hard at Chelsea as their forwards have to be involved in the build up and link play with rest of midfield he's no good at that.

He's perfect for Atleti and i never denied that but he'll have to chose his next team very wisely as he has a very limited skillset which won't lend well to many other top teams.

Re: Diego Costa

But is it true that he cant participate to the build up? no it's not. Last season he was playing SS, behind Falcao, and provided the good just as much. Maybe he isnt as skillful as Benzema, yet he still manages to link up with the other players imo.

This year he is leading the line, and still carrying David Villa Laughing.

Not sure i agree with you mole, take closer look at him. As a CF that leads the line, he is perfectly equipped.

i would tell you that leading the line, he still participates more in the game than i see falcao doing at monaco.

I agree with the Falcao comparison but we all know Falcao is crap at that.

Which is why i said he needs to pick his next club very carefully although he's more well rounded outside the box than Falcao he's still very limited IMO and wouldn't lend well within Chelsea's tactics personally.

more like as long as he avoids the likes of Arsenal, Bayern and barca he will be fine.

Also, he is the prototypical mourinho CF...

What the hell is a protoypical Mourinho CF?

The only WC CF's Mourinho has coached (Drogba, Milito) as well as Ronaldo all have contrasting styles to Costa lol.

Mourinho has never really coached a player like Costa unless you're counting (prime) Torres, who's he's basically a more physical yet lesser skilled version of.

I am talking about the kind of CF that brings an extremely high level of aggression into his game, tall and powerful, and can lead the line. That's the kind of CF Mourinho likes to build around imo.

Re: Diego Costa

I guess my problem with RG'ss and Mole's comments is why do you need him to be more than he is? Okay, he is a system CF, he would likely struggle at a team that required to be more involved in the play. But he is not that kind of player. He's a poacher. His job is to score goals, not to contribute to build up. And he does it very, very well. In fact, he's very influential and has led his team to 2nd in la liga so far, top of his CL group, and titles in the past seasons. Isn't that enough?

So long as you understand what he is, and compare him to like-styled players, I see nothing wrong with claiming he is a very good player.

Would still flop for spain btw.

I hope he keeps his word on it. And also Brazil should not allow him to participate for Spain. He will be a solid addition for Brazil with Neymar getting a much freer role with Costa being such a hard worker

Diego using Spain to get his brazil call

he cant start over fred because of the confed and brazil already has a set style of play with most starters having their position on lock for the next comp but he is marginally better than any other CF brazil have atm. He will get his games, brazil getting stronger

Here is the "prank" where he gives it away.

He said that he will take 3 CFs to the WC, Fred and Diego have 2 guaranteed spots

Pretty certain that the release clause (previously around £21m) was significantly raised with his new deal this past summer, so it's almost certainly not at £25m.

I see you keep holding on to that one which BTW still can't be proven sine Damiao is still not in Europe and the comparison was over a year ago, not for present day. It's not like I said Damiao is better than Neymar I said about a year and a half ago that he was more suited for Europe than Neymar, and he still could be.

I mean I never said anything as stupid as this beauty from you below. I mean it doesn't get more ignorant than what's below about Jack Wilshere. LOL, wow.

As for the topic why are you including Bayern & Juve? He'd walk into both teams.

As great as Marchisio is, Wilshere is better and he's also better than Kroos, Schweini and whatever scrub they pair him.

LOL, I mean talk about going full retard.
