It is shameful for any club to publish about refereeing decisions that costed them the game as their main headline. It really is, you can mention that maybe their were some controvesial decisions but not like the referee costed the game. They are basically calling the referee a cheat and no matter what level of football you play, any player that call a referee a cheat is given a straight direct red card. If players get fined/sent off for such similar circumstances I believe clubs should get fined as well.

Now to the refereeing decisions and there were three shouts for penalties.
First the Adriano's handball decision. Got to remember that the referee hasn't got the clearest view of the incident and therefore can only play on what he has seen. Secondly, people need to understand this concept of natural position of the hand and whether hand hit the ball not ball hit the hand. Is Adriano's hand in a natural position? Yes. Was it hand to ball or ball to hand? Ball to hand. Watch the replays over and over again and you'll see that the ball hits the hand not hand hits the ball.
Cesc's shout for a penalty- Definately a penalty. There is clear contact on his foot and the opponent doesn't get the ball in any shape, way or form. A clear foul inside the penalty area, should have been a penalty.
Yes Ronaldo's penalty was definately a clear penalty. Mascherano doesn't get the ball in any shape, way or form. He not only pushes Ronaldo over but also trips his legs. Clear penalty and he could have also been given a red card as Ronaldo was last man. Whether it was a clear goal scoring opportunity that's for the fans to debate about.

Madrid fans raving on how some of the fouls we committed the referee didn't pick up but in almost every occasion the referee played advantage. Personally felt that Ramos could and should have been given a second yellow and Carajaval was lucky not to escape from the elbow shot he gave Neymar. At the end of the day, La Liga refs aren't the best refs in the world but people can't say he favoured Barca more or favoured Real more because he equally gave crap decisions.

If you understand Spanish, watch this highlight that Real Madrid made..

According to the commentator having 10% more possession and shooting more is playing ultra defensive. Disgusting club that once again tries to manipulate what really happend..

Yes, but then we also ignore that fact if he didn't make some of the other saves could've benn game over for us. I'd also like to put in were was Pique and Masch? Pique pulled a rookie FIFA 14 mistakes on trying to close CR down when Jese was pretty much wide open rushing from the middle. He should've let Alves who was rushing behind CR and stayed in the middle making sure CR is in a tight angle or if he passes it to Jese he could've been there, but he wasn't.

Ya thanks to Collblanc now i got the idea why Messi is not running in some moments.just walking. It must be a tactic by Martino to drag defenders. Sanchez's goal is an example

Yeah after watching replay i see how Messi fooled defenders on Sanchez's goal. Messi instead running forward he ran one step backward when Neymar made his pass to Sancez. This made 4 players around him to stay with him. Its a genius move isnt it?

Messi's movement (or lack thereof) had nothing to do with that goal. Not that I'm criticizing it, I'm just saying that attributing any of that to Messi is ridiculous. It was a good header from Xavi to Neymar (the awareness!), a great lead pass from Neymar and the rest is brilliance from Alexis. Nothing more.

Why Do You Talk Like This...??

And we're not ignoring it, we're acknowledging the fact that Valdes saved our asses a couple times throughout the game and who gives a shit if he let in a consolation goal that means nothing? Blaming Valdes for losing out on what was a 1v1 is unfair as well, even if it was "savable".

Yeah, Messi played part on that goal. It's the Messi effect, most marked, controlled man will leave the most space for others. Too bad those example goals are too scarce when we have not exploited it enough, at all.

Agree 100%.

Valdes had the night of his life and let in a 1 on 1 that Pique (who in his defense also had a great night up to this point) let Jese free. Not to mention the goal didn't matter at that point. It's a quick break, 1 on 1 situation, not as "easy" as people think it is. Had Valdes not been on his game we would of lost the game when Real Madrid picked up the tempo in the 2nd half. Give the guy some credit.

If Messi ran forward all around him would do same. Especially Pepe. He played his part there

Consolation goal for Madrid? Score was 2-1 not 5-1. 1 more goal and game would end 2-2. Valdes was good but he didnt save anything special. He saved some savable shots. Ronaldo's shot came straight to him. Other save with his foot was good. Then he conceded savable shot. Normal performance not great not bad

Very strange game.Tata made some tactical decisions before the game.Though not sure why.
Why did he start Masch on the right and Pique on the left? Was it because he felt Masch could deal better with CR pace?
And why Messi on the right?I just dont see what purpose it solves. Was it to keep Marcelo pushed back and keep Madrid's midfield confused because if he intended it to help us offensively,it didnt at all.

Also didnt like the way we rushed play all game.I get trying to be direct and hit them early before they get bodies behind. But what exactly does Valdes hoofing it every single time accomplish?Mess doesnt contest a header ever and Neymar is not going to win any headers either. We gave away possession time and again by hoofing it.Also if we intend to play direct then we need excellent movement off the ball in the final third. Then what was Tata thinking starting Cesc and Messi together.Messi's movement off the ball was especially atrocious.
I mean Neymar gets to the byline and looks only to find Messi waiting outside the D.Another time Iniesta gets the ball on the counter and Messi is waiting at the halfway line for the ball at his feet.
The one time he did move off the ball,he found himself one on one with the keeper.
If we intend to play direct and counter when we get the opportunity then his movement off the ball needs to be much better.

Also didnt think we put enough pressure on their midfield.Ramos and Khedira had far too much time on the ball. However was impressed by the defensive work put in. Xavi,Busquets and Iniesta put in a lot of defensive effort.

Not a great performance by any means. But after 2 consecutive defeats against them, this win will restore confidence.

Yes, this was confirmed by Martino.
