FIFA 14 discussion

I am legit hyped for FIFA. Will use the demo to get to grips with the game and sort of different pad, then i'll make a pro before I do anything

You tried Fifa 14 demo on PS4? jawdropping graphics, the 3d stadium experience etc.

Even the replays of goals, shots, saves etc. was jawdropping

Glad i'm not playing it on PS3 anymore smh

Clubs on ps4 gonna be GOAT, only going to play clubs tbh

Yeah I actually downloaded it 2 days ago it is definitely different

Seen individual blades of grass in close ups, that surprised me

No more 2d pixelated fans

Think i'll start off in midfield somewhere, not sure I can be bothered striking straight away, fancy some b2b

The problem is because you can only ever jump ship to clubs during the season, you take over a mess. Now 1/2 of FIFA notices you're winning most of your games and actually performing above expectations, the other sees you're behind the target they set at the start of the season before you took over, and it leads to people sometimes getting sacked with 100% records.

They need to fix this on FIFA 15 or I am not touching career mode at all.

my current career mode is trying to lead Peterborough United to the premier league from League 1, just loaning in talented youth with cheap buy clauses at the end of the loans of big clubs until i get promoted and a boost to the transfer kitty to buy some half decent permanent players


should keep me busy till FIFA 15

Probably the worst feature I've encountered in this game is the Browse Jobs feature in Career Mode. I've won everything a coach can win in the game already (did the treble twice already as well) and I can't even get Aston Villa to hire me ffs

I researched this problem and apparently this has been a known issue since the beginning with 14. Only a very small percentage of users report even getting offers from other clubs. The workaround I've read works best is to simply join a smaller club and do the impossible with them. that apparently boosts the reputation and significantly diversifies the amount of clubs looking for a new coach.

I am likely one of the few here who actually likes Career Mode quite a bit so I hope this particular issue is addressed in 15.

Yeah it's bad, apparantly no matter what you do you can't really switch clubs until you have a few seasons done and dusted

And you never get offers so you can only go to other clubs later in the season, and the selection is crap, always has been

I want my own agent I can tell what country I want to work at.
