Nay, Chelsea would rather gift KDB to any TDH rather selling or loaning to us :-)

I don't want De Bruyne on loan, we've already got Moses from there and I don't care to see us becoming a club that takes people in on loan to make it easier for other clubs to judge their players' ability and potential.

Moses was common sense since we didn't get the attacking player we were looking for, but let's put it this way that no other big club in the PL have loaned players in their ranks.

Also, KDB won't be sold to any EPL team. Won't be loaned to any EPL team either.

Moses has been downright average. Was a stopgap depth signing tbf. We won't buy him.

I know he was being sarcastic. He was trying to use the case of Suarez to make my argument about Lucas look stupid by showing how a manager got sacked under Suarez and only 1 bid has come in for him. I was making it clear how ridiculous and desperate he's getting.

There is absolutely zero chance of us signing Moses permanently. He doesn't fit anything we need here. Ibe and Sterling are really highly rated wingers and we don't even play with wingers in our system (hard enough getting those 2 game time). Moses is also shit at AM and can't play ST so not a chance.

I sure hope we sign Moses at the end of the year... The drastic increase in his performances that would need to take place for that to occur would be quite welcome.

Sooner or later, that 12m on Hughes IS going to affect first team targets.

Anyway, Momo Sissoko is out of contract and is a free agent. He obviously can't pass but Rodgers can change that.
Alonso is also out of contract at the end of the year.
We should save Mascherano from the dungeon he's in at Barcelona playing as a CB. We'll then have a reason to sing we have the best midfield in the world again.

To be fair, he's being played out of position.

He's actually a decent winger. Just can't play as the number 10. But he's been so selfish it's unreal. We already give the responsibility for Suarez and Sturridge to be that player (that freedom to do whatever they want), but Moses persists in holding up the ball too when the better option is there for him.

Well I doubt Derby will allow his contract to just run down. I imagine if he doesn't sign they'll sell to whoever comes first. I would hate to be in a situation like that where we'll have to fend off clubs with more resources.

Although Hughes is a die hard Pool fan so that might just work.

We need a number 10 if we are to get any sort of midfielder. We also need a coach that knows how to coach defending set pieces ffs. Then we'll be set.

M'Vila won't stop teams scoring from set pieces and he definitely won't have any impact at all in the final third. Good player, but not really needed as of yet. So yeah, unless he's cheap, we don't really need him.

M'Vila is much better than Lucas so would massively improve our midfield. The best way to stop a team scoring from set pieces is to stop giving set pieces away, Lucas gave away 2 needlessly yesterday and they both led to goals. M'Vila is a much better player, wouldn't put us under that pressure in the first place. Also wouldn't allow the opposition to cut through us from defence to attack with one pass (Deulofeu chance) and wouldn't allow numerous 3/4 vs 2 attacks on our CB's.
