He has won la liga in best possible fashion ever. Scored 23 games in a row. This was not only la liga record but world record. Also won European golden shoe and spanish supercup.This season from september he scored lot of goals and his team is 1st in the table. He had a great chance 1 month ago. But october became failure for him.. If another player had such success people would vote him. But its Messi and he has highest standarts. And i agree that things he did was world class but not Messi class

He has only chance to get his chances back. Scoring 2 or more goals or being man of the match against Milan on wednesday. Im sure captains and coaches will watch that match

Was best player individually last season, this calendar year. Scored 21 league games straight, won Golden Boot with the record difference, carried Barca to La Liga like Maradona did with Napoli in 89-90. Carried Barca to CL SF still being unfit, with the style not seen in football before.

Not much to say about this game, I thought it was very scrappy but matches against Espanyol always are. I'm starting to side more and more with Alex on the subject of Valdes' long passing - something we sometimes did with Pep, but has now become the norm.

Agreed on several players looking unrested.
