Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Wenger reveals in team news that Ramsey(3weeks), Özil, Gibbs and Giroud are out.
Says there is "uncertainty" about Monreal and Vermaelen having just come back from illness and uncertainty about Wilshere, Walcott, and Rosicky.
Ox one week away from normal training.
Says medical checks due today to further assess who's available.

Leaving us with a lineup that looks something like this if all aforementioned are presumed injured. They won't all be of course, but this is who's left.
-------------------------Szczesny
Sagna----------Mertesacker-----Koscielny-----Jenkinson
------------------Arteta------------Flamini
------------------------Cazorla
Gnabry-------------------Bendntner----------Podolski

Why is it every time we get a player back from injury we lose 2 more right away?
What is the lesson here? Wenger for the love of the game rotate, we have the players. Bendtner time.

Read the team news, he said Wilshere is 'uncertain'. This would be our lineup if ALL the out and uncertain players weren't available, it's highly unlikely that that will be the case but that's just taking that scenario into consideration.

Oh dear we're sending ozil to a specialist. Worrying considering every time we send someone to a specialist they give us the wrong advice and make things worse

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Srsly guys Wenger is resting most of those players, this "injury" angle is so that he doesn't get crucified for rotating everyone
Imagine starting Bendtner over a fit Giroud every Arsenal fan on here would grab a picture of Wenger, a sniper rifle and head for the Emirates. Fergie used to do it all the time with Rooney and the national team

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Lex, you wont find many Arsenal fans would even complain if Bendtner or Park started for us. Wenger would never care what any fans think, these players are injured because he overplayed them.

Wenger on Walcott's injury: "Theo is a knee problem. We don't know if it's a stretched ligament or just a kick."
Let's pray it's just a kick.

Wenger: "Walcott had two kicks on his knee. If we lose him for a long period, the striker position is a problem."
Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Devastating news. The season where Walcott's really starting to turn on the flair, he suffers two consecutive injuries

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Walcott will have a scan tomorrow. Early signs suggest it could be a month out with strained ligaments.

Don't know why he's even having the scan, Twitter's already decided it's a one-month injury.
