What are the rules of loaning out players, can we bring them back when we want?
I think there's a fee to pay for that. Could be wrong.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
It's very rare to recall loaned out players and I'm sure sometimes impossible, due to the clauses in the contract. I cannot remember the last time I've read that a player has been recalled in the middle of a loan.

I think we did recall Bellerin from Watford last season but its unlikely we will recall Jenks.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Wenger hints that Ramsey (min. 3 weeks) and Arteta could be back shortly after the international break.
Never been more relieved for two weeks of no club football. Gives Monreal and Sanogo time to recover as well.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
I think Ramsey's injury isn't as bad as thought
John Cross started the 6 weeks thing and he is often a mouthpiece(for b grade stuff).
Might be wishful thinking but Ramsey could be back after the international break against erm Sunderland?

Watch him get rushed back only to get injured again in a few weeks.

It means the same thing it meant when he rested him vs Galatasaray. He's fit but not match fit. You don't go from playing one Capital One Cup match in over 5 months to playing vs Chelsea at the bridge

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
This international break - providing we don't pick up any more injuries whilst the players are away with their countries - comes at a decent time.
Was good to see Monreal back on the bench v Chelsea. And hopefully Ramsey, Walcott & Arteta are back this month. It's a great shame Debuchy and Giroud are out until Christmas as we really could do with both of those right now, we only really have Chambers and Welbeck in their positions.

Ozil will have an MRI scan in Germany on a potential knee injury.

Yay. More joy.
Second thoughts, though. We never wilfully want injuries, we have enough of them even otherwise. But actually, it's good for him if he spends some time away from the spotlight and constant scrutiny and repetitive shitty performances in our wonderful formation this year.

Would be even better if fans would get behind instead of constantly, on his back.
Hope it's nothing serious, this is just ridiculous.

Unfortunately the news just got out at SSNHD - Mesut Özil will be sidelined for 3 months due to a part rupture of his outer knee ligament. ("Anriss des Außenbandes im linken Knie")

Well, obviously he didn't get the injury at the NT, but he already arrived with this. Looks like you should fire your medical department at Arsenal, though, if they didn't notice the extent of the injury.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Yea lmao. Our medical department completely missed the injury but the German doctors could locate it in an instant. I find that hilarious
What revamp did we do this year which they talked about?
Pathetic

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Ozil probably felt something on his knee against Chelsea but kept playing just like he did against Bayern munich last season when he picked up that hamstring injury. If the players can't look after themselves then it makes the medical departments job harder than it already is. The good thing about this is the idiots who constantly criticize Ozil and blame him for every bad results will see how average we look in attack without him.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
you don't really feel much more than slight soreness with a slight ligament tear... it's the full tear that kicks your arse. It's the day after that you know something is wrong because it's getting worse, not better, when you have a tear. Everyone is different of course. But my guess is that Ozil felt he took a knock since he could keep moving.
Players can only verbalize their symptoms... it's up to the doctors to check for everything that could cause the symptoms until you find the cause.
And it had to have happened in the last game... it's impossible for him to have had it happen before without him/doctors knowing since the symptoms get worse after a day and you can't move properly. So yeah, he has his excuse for the Chelsea game whenever it happened.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Just a joke. There has to be something about the amount of mintues Wenger puts in our players, the training methods, warming up/down. There has to be SOMETHING there to be reformed. Five starters are out, we won't see three until the New Year.
And this is the case every year. Wow.
The Emirates built on some fvcking Native American burial grounds or something.

we are on the same boat.
contrary even our back ups are picking up injuries let alone first teamers.
still yea yours is comparatively worser. 3 months for ozil is definitely a blow. Commiserations. :

Honestly it doesn't matter who we buy anymore. With this medical staff we could have bill and Ted travel through time and collect a team of the greatest footballers from every time period in the prime of their careers and we still wouldn't win shit
