Was hard not to see Wilshere taking longer to come back than originally thought. When it comes to his ankles, you can always expect a lengthy lay-off for him.

Chamberlain's injury is so frustrating. Every time he starts showing signs of stepping his game up to another level, he gets injured.

No new injuries from the Monaco game but some "knocks". Wenger hopeful of having Rosicky available again after his illness.

Arteta, Wilshere and Debuchy are all two or three weeks away. Arteta is the closest to returning, with Wenger saying he could be back after next week's international break.

Should have Debuchy & Arteta available not long after the international break, whilst Chamberlain & Wilshere can't be far away.

“It all went right apart from Welbeck’s injury towards the end of the game which has soured it a bit,” reflected Hodgson at full time.

“We hope it’s not serious, but it’ll probably keep him out of Tuesday, which is a disappointment particularly as we’d already lost Daniel Sturridge (through injury on Monday).

“Welbeck has had a tweak to the knee, when he dived with the goalkeeper. We were planning to take him off anyway. He’s being assessed by the medical staff, but we won’t get a proper idea until Saturday.

“The medical staff gave me the impression they’re not terribly worried about it, but that Tuesday may be too soon. But we’ll see.”

Wilshere, Debuchy, Arteta and... Diaby all in full training, playing a friendly today vs Brentford which we won 4-0, Wilshere opened the scoring and assisted Crowley. Diaby also assisted Iwobi later on.

Who is cheering on Diaby to resurrect his career? If he were to take a massive cut would yall gamble and keep him around?

Remember Rosicky's situation?

I wouldn't be averse to letting him stay on a pay-as-you-play deal, we'd lose nothing that way, even if he were out for another year. And if he finally finds a level of fitness then hooray, we've got another capable midfielder in our midst.

And hooray, Flamini is gone. Hopefully.

Btw not to be a buzzkill but why is everyone saying that everyone is fit when Wenger said the Ox isn't available and Welbeck needs assessing?

Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere, Abou Diaby and Mathieu Debuchy are back in contention for this weekend’s game against Burnley.

There’s also good news regarding Laurent Koscielny whose groin scan came back looking ‘good’ according to the Arsenal manager although it remains to be seen if he’ll be risked.

Wojciech Szczesny could also return to the squad after missing the Liverpool game with a rib injury. “He has a test today,” said the Frenchman. “He has a good chance to be available for Saturday.”

Debuchy reportedly set to return to Arsenal squad for trip to Wembley. Not sure who will miss out on the bench, perhaps Chambers.

Debuchy has a hamstring problem and could be short for Monday's game against Hull. Apart from that, everybody else is fit and ready to go, apparently:

Speaking on April 23, ahead of the Chelsea game, Arsene Wenger said: "He’s still out, he has not been in training. He’s not being considered at all."

I doubt Chamberlain recovered that quickly since then.
