I have to admit I have completely lost passion for our team for the first time in my life.

It's been years of terrible decisions, tactical and managerial, decisions so transparently wrong even an ordinary fan could tell.I am often in genuine physical discomfort watching games caused by tactical misconception our managers have.

I just can't bear anymore...Things must improve.

What worries me most is the fact that I've also lost passion for trolling this forum :coffee:

He is not. This is also the first season in 9 years I've missed a league game. I understand it's part of Inter to be pazza on the field. What made me frustrated was the no progress in taking the club forward. At least now ET is taking small steps to the right direction. Only thing I am waiting for is for him to hire a pragmatic coach who adopts his game to the situation, or a coach who have a modern philosophy the whole club can adopt and stick to it for years. Not this shit on a stick 352 we have been playing.

I think it's easy to support a team in a treble season , but the real fans show to be this in difficult moments . and Inter fans showed it in past year, the thing to distinguish Inter fans from others was the attachment and the loyalty to club regardless of victories or losses , I don't know if you know it but we are the 2nd most supported team in Italy (Juve is the most supported by far , Milan are basically  same number than Interisti but not more )  and we didn't diminished of numer not even in Sacchi era , not even in 90s years when we won 3 Uefa Cups but 0 scudetti. We make always many subscriptions atr stadium even in last years.
Although , I must be cynical , maybe this is the ugliest period of Inter history.
We had difficult years also in past but we had top player and the hope to improve because we bought them .
Now we talk about Mazzarri etc surely it is  a problem, but the real problem is that we haven't money.
The club is in economic crisis , the worst in its history (we didn't spend also in 70'- half 80' under Fraizzoli, and infact we won only 2 scudetti and 2 Coppa Italia under him, but we had not problems to balance the budget and the FPF as now ) . And what is the future of a club with no money ? Just the Champions League qualification can give improve us , but how can you get it if don't you improve the team?
We will have much patience with young players and other, although  we are already tired about scrub seasons.

I'm not some bandwagoner.I've been a fan since 2000,those were the dark ages...

But I just didn't care enough to watch the St Etienne game...I would normally watch every single minute of a season and preseason as well.I just can't anymore, because I consider myself quite tactically educated and understanding of football,,so seeing a tactical setup which is very limiting to our players for the last couple of years makes me want to smash the TV since kickoff.Benitez,Leonardo,Gasperini,Ranieri,Stramaccioni and Mazzarri...I could always tell what they were doing wrong and predict what would happen. It just got to the point that I don't care anymore because it's the same mistakes, over and over and over...

ok understood now Very Happy You aren't the frst to listen saying this.

TBH it' s really difficult to watch an Inter match for 90 minutes now .
It's an achievement do it. you does it for " owe" as fan but you would not advise it to a neutral to do it.

I think it is saddest Inter ever, all saw also mediocre years but at least you could see temperament and flashes of class.
Not even flashes of class now .
Just apathy. We are the personification of apathy.
Saddest Inter ever.

it's beautiul to read some comments about Moratti by neutral fans
Demonstration about how much he was appreciated as football man

I don't think this is the saddest Inter ever

I think when we start playing big teams like Juve, Roma, Milan, we will beat them and then we will still be in a shit position in the league just because we're inconsistent as hell.

I mean we have a really good team. a team that's better than the results we're getting. and mazzari has done better with worse, so I don't know what's going on.

we deserved the victory  , we made more than Sampdoria .. expecially in first half.
good match considering Samopdoria is fit,  it stopped also Roma..
basically we won just 1-0 because Palacio missed many goals in front Romero , all chances created by Kovacic
anyway tbf we were close to lose just before of that penalty if Handanovic didn't save greatly on Eder...
The penalty kick was earned by your main man Zradvko Kuzmanovic . the first good thing made by him with Inter kit Proud

we played with 2  born in 1991 , 1 born in 1992, 1 born in 1993 , 1 born in 1994 hmm it is the standard anyway

yeah infact I appreciated his signing in that January .. I remind him to Fiorentina, he was legit and he was so also in Stuttgart expecially in first period
I didn't wait these scrub performances by him ... he's worsened during years
He had a good impact against Sampdooria ( he played because of Hernanes injured) regardless of penalty kick got by him,  he was also close to goal with a good insertion ( he made it also against Saint Etienne)  ... anyway I have not illusions about the fact that he will be useful also in future . I hope to be wrong ... probably he will play also tomorrow considering the injuries at midfield.

Mazzarri trained Cassano during Sampdoria era , he didn't want again in squad because he is really diffciult to manage, basically Cassano did what he wanted to Genova , he could do it because he was the favorite of Garrone ... ( and after Cassano insulted and quarrelled with him  ) . so he didn't want to repeat this experience

We ' ll play with 4-3-1-2. We don't play with this system since 2011 ( just an interval in 2010 because Mourinho wanted the 4-2-3-1 rated more adpted to Champions League, and he was right) . How many players are changed during these 3 years.. firstly Cambiasso and Stankovic

Kovacic will play as trequartista, but I don't like him in that role. In no way to be honest.
He needs of pitch for progression and dribbling , he is not trequartista. He is mezz ala. He never convinced when he played as trequartista, nor Inter neither Croatia.
but tbf Hernanes misses so it is a choice a bit obliged

Juan will play and not Vidic . In a defence to 4 Ranocchia (captain too , and our best defender so far) and Vidic are similar profils while Juan Jesus is speedest than other 2 and so he is complementary and for this reason he will be a sure starter..
But he shows flaws when he played as central defender in a 4 under Stramaccioni ( sense of positioning, marking ... while you can rely on the physical on 3) ffor me.
Similar matter for Nagatomo and Dodò . They can't defend ffs infact they should play ideally just in a 3-5-2.
Dodò was signed just for this reason ffs Laughing
Basically a bit worried about our defence ( anyway a similar matter can be done for Milan, who will play with Zapata and not the injured Alex for example) , but we'll see...

yes that was okay, I am satisfied. I didn't want to begin new era Mancini with a loss in a derby
I think we would have lost under Mazzarri
just a thing : I remind when Mancini played with Stankovic as winger in that 4-4-2 (before of rombo) ... now he played 4-3-3 with Kovacic as winger
Probably he didn't play in that role even in Dinamo Zagabria
Mazzarri did just a good thing in last 16 months , Kovaciic exploited as mezz ala . so no joke Mancini.

Mancini has a habit of these things. Played Milner on the wing quite a lot for example at City along with Silva(although he was good enough there)

It depends on what formation Mancini has in mind. He likes his 4-2-3-1,4-2-2-2 and 4-3-3. Think Kovacic would be better behind the striker. But Is there place for him there?

Kovacic drifted there often but was clearly a central player for most of the game.In the worst case it was a 4-3-2-1 and not a 4-3-3..He actually played as left winger occasionally at Dinamo...

he isn't good as trequartista,  i said it also before of match , it is definitely clear what is his role after you saw him playing for 3 years , the mezz ala stop,  this was one of few good things made by Mazzarri.
Boban ( excellent Sky Italy pundit now ) is Milanista but he loves Kovacic as Croatian and he said same thing to Mancini yesterday . He said Kovacic was brilliant as mezz ala because it's his role and he warned about the fact that Kovacic will go towards an involution if he will play as yesterday

and yes , Mancini  he did the comparison with David Silva when the journalists asked him about it Laughing
He says Kovacic can play as David Silva Laughing ... for me they are 2 different players . Besides Silva was a winger in Valencia
He will never be a difference maker as trequartista because he needs of pitch but winger is even worse ...
