Add me guys I'm on ps4.xThe-Falc0nx zero in falcon.lol don't have enough friends for raid missions.I'm only lvl 16 anyway.

That crucible match was depressing. I got killed by that level 27 shotgun guy like, 5 times in a row. I don't know why I kept running into him, and no one else on his team. As soon as I started avoiding him, my rank went from last to first on our team, at least for a little while.

I was doing pretty well despite the horrible start, until he started appearing again, this time using a light machine gun. I don't know how to deal with players like him, who insta-kill me as soon as I spot them, and seem to resist far more damage than everyone else. I should probably get a good shotgun for PvP, but I don't really like using shotguns in this game.

I got three legendary items in one day, all bought from my faction vendor . I also have enough strange coins to buy an Exotic piece of gear and enough motes of light to buy an Exotic engram (which thankfully, will always be an Exotic item when decrypted) when the RE4 dude shows up on Friday.

To make things even better, once I reach rank 3 reputation for my faction in the coming days, I'm gonna get a free legendary weapon from their arsenal

It's amazing just how many people spend countless hours upon hours farming for purple engrams which may or may not drop, and when decrypted, have a much higher chance of being a blue item than a purple, when you can just level up a faction, and buy the shit yourself and get some free stuff in the process.

Yeah, New Monarchy( ), Dead Orbit and Future War Cult(FWC) are the three factions that you can join. They each have gear that specialises in two out of the three main stats, Intellect, Discipline and Strength, so you can join the faction which will bring the best out of your character.

New Monarchy specialise in Intellect and Strength, which reduces the cooldown of the Super move and the cooldown of the melee attack respectively, so that will benefit my Titan more than the other two factions who focus on Discipline, which reduces the cooldown of your grenade, plus one other stat.

Factions are by far the best and fastest way for you to get legendary gear, as both Vanguard AND Crucible reputation points count toward their overall reputation score. So, all you need to do buy one of your faction of choice marks for 2.5k glimmer, and put it on, and as long as you have it on, any rep that you get will go to your chosen factions rep score.

This includes rep you get from patrol missions, from all the bounties, from the weekly strike, strike playlist, crucible matches etc. All of it.

It makes the game more fun joining a faction, since you don't have to spend all your time playing in PvE for Vanguard rep or playing in PvP for Crucible rep. You can play in, and enjoy, both PvE and PvP simultaneously because you aren't restricted by having to play in only one because you need to grind that rep.

Decryptions are all luck based, you need the RNG gods to favour you to get something. Levelling up your faction rep and buying weapons and armour is a 100% guaranteed way to get top tier weapons and armour.

Jonathan: Keep in mind that while the Exotic Engram will indeed give you an Exotic tier item, it is NOT limited by class. So you could easily end up with a piece of armor that your character cannot use.

i chose Future War Cult...much easier to get legendary gear it seems, thought it was going to take me forever to get the Vangaurd rep, so when i discovered this it was a nice surprise

Nearly Rank 3 with the Vanguard already, so it's not really that difficult. It helps immensely to use the resource trade feature.

Another great option is to work on leveling up your Cryptarch rank. You get packages with Rare/Legendary/Exotic Engrams in the mail every time that reaches a new tier as well.

Just yesterday I ended up getting 2 legendary engrams from random enemy drops during Patrol missions as well, though both ended up only being Rare items when decrypted.

Hunter here aswell. Don't know what I could tell you.. Always pick up bounties for pve/pvp when you're playing.

When you complete a bounty or more attach the guns you want to level up as mains (Primary, secondary and heavy) You get instant upgrades if you do it like that.


- When you get new weapons. Upgrade it in pve or when you hand in bounties. You'll get reckt with a shat weapon with no attachments. Oh and use Auto Rifle in pvp. Rest of the primary weapons is shit in pvp compared to Auto Rifle.

Skirmish is the best PvP mode, it always for so much team strategy due to the small team sizes.
