Rondo looks to be back. He's not playing tonight but he just had a 15, 12 and 8 performance against the Mavs. Over his last 3(C's are 2-1) he's averaging 14, 11 and 8.

Titles: Bird
MVPs: Bron
LeBron also has 5x 1st all team all defense, has a scoring title which I don't think LB has. And if he hasn't LBJ will pass him anyway so I'll go with him.

Wilt, Russell, Big O were all great but I question the competition(esp with Wilt) and that was too far back anyway, can hardly find highlights of those guys.

I think LeBron has already surpassed Bird as the best SF to ever play, but Bird meant so much to the league so I didn't want to put him there yet.. Also he is still playing, but he will be in there when his career is over

Regular season, I'll get hyped when he's consistently knocking down game winners when it counts most. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating, but some of us have to counteract the LeBron James fanboyisms.

My thoughts?

How did Lebron pass Dream, Kareem, Shaq, Duncan and Kobe...just ignoring the old guys like Dr. J, West, Oscar, Wilt and Bill.

These names made their names by play-off exploits, not regular season beat-downs of the NBA scrubs. Which of these guys have had moments as bad of Lebrons Boston and Dallas struggles? And just looking at the positive,the only player who you could argue Lebron has matched in terms of playoff peak performance would be Dream..and even then, its questionable given how he looked in the finals he won last year.

I will go with what Skip said, Lebron just feeling defensive he about to lose that MVP and Durant got the best of him recently. Just like that crazy defensive player of the year comment he made last week or whenever the Clippers put 120 on them Laughing

LeBron is more talented than all of those players you listed, that has to count for something.. And 4 MVPs and 2 rings before he turned 29 is pretty crazy.. He's got the talent, numbers and hardware :coffee:
