if you guys remember Chori Dominguez...he's also there.
by the way Kostas Manolas from Olympiakos would ahve been a much better option than Vermalen...cheaper too

So let me get this straight..

Ibra was in in his last year of his deal, and we loaned him out right.

Does this mean he is free to walk after this year or does Olympiacos have some sort of buy clause even though he will be a free agent? (unless he isn't a free agent and I read that wrong).

Stupid move on our end but great for Afellay. Gets to pounce on the Greek league then be a free agent where he can go off and hopefully land on a bigger club going into his 30s. Happy for him if thats the case, tbh. too bad he spent the best years of his youth injured

Always liked Afellay. Knew when he moved to Barca it was a mistake. He was going into the prime years of his career and was always going to be a bencher with you guys. But I guess injuries ruined him even more so than any transfer. Pity could've been really special for the right club.

not saying Olympiakos is a top european chalenger, but it offers a combination of constant chamion's league presence and guarantied domestic trophies. if Afelay was fit he would be well above Olympiakos, but in his current state he fits about right

He was in perfect age/form for a move to a big club, unfortunately he chose the wrong one.

I think everyone knew back then he shouldn't have moved there.

He was always injured, its not like he was ever fit to be benched. We do alot of silly things, but not using Afellay was not our fault at all.

He could of moved anywhere and it wouldnt have mattered, he just never stayed fit.
