. tbh, Seeing how Henry has adapted with the loss of athleticism has been quite something. He really orchestrates and creates some great chances. I'd say that it would be more effective if they had a Winger with more pace to stretch and open more space to give Henry the chance to create more down the middle.

And yeah, the Xavi move probably won't happen. Though, from what I hear is that its not the RB that were in for him it was NYCFC, and the mixed up reports were because many reporters were unaware there was a second NY team lol.

Though personally, I'd like to see more MLS teams using their DP slots and aim for younger players, like TFC landing Michael Bradley.

The quality of the games has been very enjoyable this season, hopefully this is the step up in the overall quality we have been waiting for because this season has been ridiculously and wide open, but it looks like Real Salt Lake could be the early favorites to take the league.

Tend to agree. Pace of the game has quickened a bit as well, which can be a double-edged sword tactically.

Technique has gotten so much better though, especially given the younger players coming in.

As much as I fap about NBCs GOAT premier league coverage.. Their MLS coverage absolutely sucks. They never show any games at all. Pick horse racing over it ffs. I'm glad fox is getting it back next year maybe they'll do something with it.

A massive deal.

Unfortunately, my interest in MLS has waned significantly. Has nothing to do with the quality of the play. Just the corporate nature of the league and the fact that my local team, Detroit City FC, are now in the USL, which are the 2nd Division in US Soccer. It's simply a more compelling competition to me than MLS.

So as good as this is for MLS, it's not one I'll be partaking in.
