He's never said that though. When I went to Anfield, Mourinho is the most hated man there. I genuinely think no match-going fan will renew their season ticket if he ever became our manager.

It's just like how Barca fans feel about him.

It's telling that sc*mbag human beings like Terry and Materazzi (Sorry Robes :coffee: ) worship him as a manager, yet utter class and gentlemen one like Casillas despise his personality and methods.

Also Rodgers is his friend  :coffee:  Anyway jokes aside , I think it's normal not love him if he is not a legend of your club, not exactly the typical person to arouse sympathy .
About LFC fans, moreover his fierce rivalry with Benitez has heighten much this negative feeling against him

He's not important enough to be talked about in this thread.

Get your heads on straight lads, most important match of the season coming up. Mou and Chelshit are quite literally irrelevant.

1. There's a HUGE difference between liking someone and respecting someone.

2. What does Mou have to do with this game/thread?

So if we're talking managers, what do you people think of Pellegrini?

Somehow he doesn't strike me as that sharp, but maybe it's just me.

Curious to see if Liverpool will play with all 4 or it will be as 2nd half against City ( a midfielder in more, and Coutinho on bench  . Anywaay I can't image Sterling on bench , in great form and he can create danger to City defence, it's the weakness of Pellegrini by a mile

Sterling will definitely start . City's big weakness is their left full back position and think both Sterling and Suarez will be used to exploit that.

For me the big decision is whether to start Coutinho Allen or Lucas .Coutinho is our beat player in playing through balls behind their defenders with their high line.

Allen has dominated Yaya almost every time he played against him with his high pressing .Also Lucas was very good when he came on last week probably MOM as well.

Personally I will go with Allen if fit but will be interesting which line up BR chooses

Actually he reminds be a bit of Wenger in the sense that he only concentrates on their strength but haven't seen him use tactics to exploit opposition weakness like Maureen or BR or Martinitez.

Maybe becoz of the confidence in their team but will be interesting whether he tries to suit tactics for Anfield or goes for the usual 4-4-2 now that Aguero is fit

Ifti that formation makes sense only when we play in a diamond formation. And if we are actually going for a diamond, I would personally go with Allen so that Hendo and Allen can harass Fernandino and Toure to stop all the supply and make Silva always drop deeper.

I am thinking Demchie will play in defense so should we play like we played against Arsenal and Everton, wolf-pressing and boom-boom-boom with SASAS. Demchie will be frustrated with the runs and will eventually earn a yellow or even a red and then we can kill the game like 3-1 or 4-2

I still think we go with this:

Johnson - Skrtel - Sakho - Flanagan
Gerrard
Henderson - Lucas
Sterling - Sturridge - Suarez

Makes the most sense to me. Either of Lucas or Henderson can drop back into a double pivot if necessary and Henderson has the energy to defend and attack proficiently. He's been making such incredible runs lately I really feel like he's going to have a good chance of potting a goal this game -- bottling be damned!

There's no way Lucas plays and we DON'T play a diamond. If we play 4-3-3 like all you above think then Coutinho starts. I don't get how all of you having watched our recent games this season would think that we'd play 4-3-3 without Coutinho either as one of the CM's or on the left.

If Lucas and Sterling do play ahead of, say, Coutinho/Allen or Coutinho/Sterling then it's gonna be a diamond.

Also hoping Agger starts ahead of Sakho for this. But whatever Rodgers chooses is the right side for me.

I really couldn't care less who City fields. In fact, I hope that's nothing serious and Kompany can play. Even if it's their best starting XI, we're still gonna win :coffee:

Also Mr. Henry in town for the match and for the Hillsborough service during the week.

Last time he watched us at Anfield, was the last time we dropped points there  silent
