Show really picked up but so many questions ffs

Did Yuri get killed by some Godly figure in that bowling alley?

Was Varga right at the end? God I hope so Laughing GOAT character. Would love him to appear in s4 if there is one.

I don't know about you all but I simply loved this season, even more than S2. Varga, Nikki, Ray, Sy, all great characters and a very interesting ending.

felt like a lot of characters were very underutilized though

Sy, the new police chief who is a top tier actor in other things..kept thinking his role would be expanded upon etc

very much felt like there were only 3 characters IMO, Varga, Emitt and Nikki

also was wondering about Varga's henchman Yuri, did he die or something from blood loss after losing his ear? just disappeared, I mean he should have survived, people do all the time after losing an ear, but that scene in the bowling alley had an air of finality about it and he never showed up again

Yuri definitely died -- I'm assuming from blood loss -- because the Ray Wise character who was talking with Yuri was telling him something that the girlfriend Yuri killed in his youth said, so he must have been a spiritual being or something.

But then that guy also talked with Nikki just before so I didn't quite get the scene but I'm sure Yuri died there because that guy mentioned his dead gf.

Varga has became my favourite fargo character. His monologues were just next level.

Didn't like it as much as some. Had potential, but this season just seemed to up in the air with a lot of things for me.

I get that in the Fargo universe a lot of coinkiedinkies happen, but too much for me in this season. It's the little things. How did Varga escape that lift for instance? Who was the guy that came out of nowhere that they framed for the 4 Stussy murders after Emmitt confessed? etc etc etc

Tbf some can be explained with the supernatural. There's a lot of chatter with the escalating supernatural elements in Fargo that the antagonist wasn't human

On a more natural level, you could see that the lift hatch was open and Varga simply climbed out of it in the 30 seconds or so he had to react.

The guy they framed was a homeless guy recently out of jail with a backstory that gave him motive to kill people named Stussy, they covered that.

Basically an ex con with nothing to gain on the outside world gets paid off to agree to go back to jail in return for confessing to murders he had nothing to do with.

But yes, still plenty of coincidences.

Oh yea I forgot the ceiling of the lift was open. rofl forgive me I'm tired, just watched a very nervewrecking film as well.

Another thing that bugged me is how superhuman Mr Wrench was/is. Killed all of Varga's man in that building rofl rofl

And the introduction of Mr Wrench in the first place too. Do the timelines of his presence in this season match up with the happenings of season 1?

Yeah he was on Malvos level at the end here Laughing

Then again, the tactical retardedness of Vargas 'fireteam' hurt me inside.

Why are they all grouping up in one position with their back to all the shutters and their boss on his own at the back Laughing Didn't take a genius to see what was gonna happen, even if the exact shutter Wrench was hiding behind was a mystery.

The bowling alley stuff was some next level supernatural stuff. Wasn't expecting that Laughing

Basically Nikki, Wrench and Yuri after their skirmish were all bleeding out in the woods, Nikki was spared and given the task of fighting Varga, Wrench was going to be 'left behind' but aiding Nikki gave him a second chance, and Yuri was left to die due to his shady past.

Which is why some people think Varga was inhuman, because some sort of diving being was intervening on his enemies behalf. It's the UFO from s2 all over again.

Didn't realise until I actually read it that the man at the very start of Ep 1 in Germany was accused of being Yuri Gurka, who was in fact Vargas henchman.

IIRC season 4 was pretty meh, don't think I even finished it... maybe I have to get back round to it but the audience score is 50% so it's definitely a massive drop off compared to the rest of the seasons

but season 5 is great from the get go, earlier seasons are 90%+ too

Only season 1 stands out

Seasons 2-3 aren't bad but it gets a bit redundant. The scenarios are more brutal and less interesting. In season 2 all members of the redneck family don't look slighty the same which annoyed me a lot.

Haven't seen season 4 since it was oddly not available on Netflix

Fargo has 8.9 on IMDB ratings to which is elite TV status so Im eager to hear if its that good bc I prefer to pick shows that are only the best otherwise it isn't the best use of my personal time.

If it is good as said, Im in.

If you enjoyed the film you'll probably enjoy the series.

The actors are all great. And every season can be watched on its own there aren't many links between seasons 1-2-3.

Just talking about it makes me want to rewatch season 1, but oh wait, it's now unavailable on Netflix  they offer very poor service i dislike them, only reason why i still pay 28$ a month for this bs is because i don't feel like telling my mom that she can't watch her shows anymore

It used to be 15$ but you cannot share accounts anymore so i had to create a second profile for an extra 13$

Then PSN subscriptions cost 33% more for no reason

Not that i can't afford, but it's insulting to people's intelligence
