Re: The Official Managerial Transfer Rumours and News Thread
Speculation continues to mount over Clarence Seedorf’s future with one newspaper suggesting that he could be sacked before the end of the season.
The Dutch tactician had guided the Rossoneri to five straight wins before that run came to an end at the weekend against Roma.
The San Siro outfit lost 2-0 in the capital, to see them slip to 10th in the table, six points off of a European place with three games to go until the end of the campaign.
And Tuttosport reveal that his relationship with the Milan board is such, that, they could be moved to sack the former midfielder even at this late stage.
The paper believes that Mauro Tassotti could take over for the remaining games, before Pippo Inzaghi takes over for next season.
CEO Barbara Berlusconi refused to back Seedorf when asked at the weekend, but the Coach himself has claimed that all he wants his to continue with the Diavolo.

Re: The Official Managerial Transfer Rumours and News Thread
This is well known, but Berlusconi secretly fears Maldini exerting a bigger influence over the Milan than himself.Yohan Modric wrote:Paolo Maldini has “often” been in talks with PSG and “we’ll discuss it again in future, but at this moment they don’t need me.”
The Milan and Italy legend spoke to Bein Sport about his reported job offer in the Paris Saint-Germain hierarchy, effectively as a replacement for Leonardo.
“The PSG President has often invited me to the stadium to watch their Champions League and Ligue 1 games.
“We did talk about this thing, but at this moment I say PSG don’t need a profile like mine as director of sport. The club is already well-structured.
“In any case, we have a friendly rapport and will discuss it again in future.”
It’s rumoured Maldini is waiting to accept the PSG role, as he’d prefer if Milan offered him the job as director of sport instead.

Re: The Official Managerial Transfer Rumours and News Thread
Sport Mediaset report that Galatasaray Coach Roberto Mancini is set to be replaced as boss of the Turkish outfit.
The Italian only arrived at the Istanbul club last September but the team have since relinquished their hold of the domestic title to arch-rivals Fenerbahce.
Now, it is said that Gala are lining up former Inter Coach Mircea Lucescu to replace the 49-year-old.
Mancini will reportedly be told of the club’s decision within the next few days, despite his team’s upcoming Turkish Cup final against Eskisehirspor.
Recent reports have linked the former Manchester City boss with the Monaco job, with current tactician Claudio Ranieri widely thought to be on his way out of the big-spending Ligue 1 side.

Re: The Official Managerial Transfer Rumours and News Thread
It is reported that Giovanni Trapattoni is ‘very close’ to signing a deal to take over as Coach of the Moroccan national team.
The 75-year-old was said to have flown to Casablanca yesterday afternoon for talks with the country’s football federation.
Now, Corriere dello Sport say that the former Republic of Ireland boss is set to sign a four year contract with the Atlas Lions, rejecting an offer from Ivory Coast at the same time.
That length of time would see the Italian tactician take in two African Cup of Nations campaigns, as well as the World Cup qualifiers for Russia 2018.
It is said that Trapattoni would want to bring in Marco Tardelli as his assistant, the same role he held while the duo worked together in Ireland.

Re: The Official Managerial Transfer Rumours and News Thread
Former Tottenham caretaker manager Clive Allen believes Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti will be the man to replace Tim Sherwood at White Hart Lane.
"If I was a betting man I'd have my money on Carlo Ancelotti," he told talkSPORT when asked who could take over from Sherwood.
"There won't be just the one option, because if was Van Gaal was on their list, that's gone now, his move to Man United looks to be done and he's been very clever with his recent comments.
"I think they'd look at someone like Pochettino too."

Re: The Official Managerial Transfer Rumours and News Thread
The latest reports reiterate that Pippo Inzaghi is in pole position to replace Clarence Seedorf at Milan, but suggest Roberto Donadoni remains in contention.
Seedorf is increasingly expected to be removed from his position on the Rossonero bench after the final game of the season after an indifferent start to his tenure from January and a believed poor relationship with club directors.
The Gazzetta dello Sport today are running the line that Primavera boss Inzaghi is the outright favourite within San Siro to replace his former teammate at the helm, with Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani described as both estimating the 40-year-old very highly.
However, it is believed that the Diavolo are also keeping their options open and are monitoring Roberto Donadoni’s continued work at Parma.
Whilst he is seen as not as popular a choice from within Milan, but the club are understood to face little opposition from Parma, should they decide to make a move.
Meanwhile, the Gazzetta dello Sport also report that recent links to Luciano Spalletti and Roberto Mancini are increasingly unlikely avenues to be explored.

Re: The Official Managerial Transfer Rumours and News Thread
As much i love Pippo, setting him up to be our coach is too premature imo. Donadoni is a better fit imo, experienced and knows the club.
Though of course, i'm against the sacking of Seedorf. But the way this is going, it seems like its the most likely outcome.

It would take a special kind of retard to sack Seedorf, the very inexperienced coach who is a Milan legend. Only to replace him with a very inexperienced coach who is a Milan legend.

Re: The Official Managerial Transfer Rumours and News Thread
I would be very disappointed to see De Boer leave Ajax. I don't think his project is quite done yet (at all), he has the opportunity to become a legendary coach at the club (now he's only halfway). Also, if he goes, I think he should go somewhere a little more ambitious, where he at least has a shot at the Champions League.
I think he is also disappointed by the end of this season, and the anticlimactic league win after the cup debacle. This means all the good young players will leave too... ugh.
MY PREDICTION HOWEVER, is that he won't go to Tottenham. Wenger will finally stop after this season, and he will become coach there with Bergkamp. Bergkamp would want this as an Arsenal legend, and it would make some sense in terms of the nature of the team.

He should remain another year, although the Manchester United is interested to him and in that case he could have different ideas ( anyway the 1st choice is Van Gaal as Di Marzio confirmed too)
Refused a contract of 6 mln every year by Monaco, and it testifies how he doesn't look at money as first thing
Anyway I was astonished when Sky Italy with Di Marzio revealed that Simeone has not a clause (AVB-esque when he was a Porto) for clubs but he has a clause for Seleccion .
substantially if Argentina pays 8 mln he gets rid to sign with Argentina , while no club can do it ( otherwise I believe Monaco would have already spended 8 mln for him ) .
Evidently his real dream is the Argentina . I do not think the Seleccion will do it of course, and it is better so , it would be an idiot thing to leave a club when you are riding high for a NT team.
