Yeah, I bet Horst Heldt has already started contract talks with Armin Veh, just to be sure. After all, he said before that one always needs to be prepared. Laughing

Something bizarre..

BILD claims according to "their informations" Bayern is thinking about getting Patrick Vieira, who's City's youth team coach, to take over our U23 in summer, when current coach ten Hag's contract expires.

LDS reporting that Garcia will likely resign from Roma if we fail to get in the CL. Sabatini is expected to resign too if that happens.

Mazzarri and Mihaljovic touted as the most likely successors....

I don't like either of them at all, but Miha is a much better tactician and will certainly nurture youth players. He has openly said that he would never coach Roma though and Romanisti wouldn't want him anyway as he's tainted.

Basically he is wating for a a strong Inter , so he can go back at his home after Lippi and Ronaldo kicked out him in '99

So he should extend the contract for other 10 years hmm

How would Roma play 3-5-2? Their FBs are terrible, they don't have enough good CBs and while they could probably retain their midfield intact they would struggle to find a good strike parternship (Totti - Ljajic/Iturbe?).

@Mole

As our resident Newcastle afficionado, I wonder whether you heard anything about Newcastle being interested in Lucien Favre? Some guy in a Gladbach forum heard such a rumour on a sports radio station in the UK, he said, and he asked if there is a confirmation. And as you know your way around Newcastle, I thought if someone knows anything, then it should be you. Favre does speak French of course, so he would fit with the Château Neuf theme...

Would be a step down for him though, no? Favre should rather wait until Pep or Wenger leave...
