Disappointed to hear about Bob Bradley getting the sack at Swansea. No chance to really change anything in the time and the team given him.

Should never have been appointed in the first place. Unbelievably stupid decision to fire Guidolin who was doing a truly fine job, equally as stupid to install a guy into this emergency situation who has never coached in a top league before.

They deserve to go down. New investors

Assistant coach Paul Clement (44) has requested FC Bayern's permission to talk to Premier League club Swansea City about a potential appointment as manager. Bayern head coach Carlo Ancelotti and the FC Bayern München AG board of directors have granted this request. As a result, Clement will not travel to the Doha training camp along with the FC Bayern squad.

Carlo's long time assistant, also spent a long time at Chelsea.

He won't save Swansea.

No love for Phelan? Its been like 12 hours since the man's sacked and no one's bothered enough to post the news on here. Ugh! Mad Sad
Hopefully Mou will bring him back to United. The guy is legit as a coach (may be not so as a manager?!). No one will be able to save that Hull team tbh. Not his fault that they are piss poor in every department.

I wonder what impact does an assistant coach have on a team.

When AVB was sacked from Chelsea and his assistant, Di Matteo, got promoted as head coach, the first thing RDM said to journalists was that he was gonna lower our defensive line, he was gonna trust the senior members of our team more, he was gonna respect the opposition and try to adapt. Basically a complete 180 turn on whatever AVB did. So it was like he wasn't even there and got no impact at all as an assistant.
Might just be AVB's egotrip and complete disregard for someone he felt was a football ignorant peasant.

I wonder how Ancelotti will cope with a guy that he feels valuable enough to bring him at Chelsea, PSG, Real, Bayern, and that Swansea feel valuable enough to coach them at a very delicate point of the season.

Roman Polanski new VfL Wolfsburg head coach, contract until 2018

Andries Jonker returns to VfL Wolfsburg and takes charge of the Green-Whites as head-coach with immediate effect. The 54-year-old, who operated as assistant and tactical coach at VfL between 2012 and 2014, comes in from top English club Arsenal FC, where he has run the 'Gunners' youth academy since 2014. Andries Jonker, who has signed with the Wolves until 2018, will be presented to the public officially as new head-coach on Monday and subsequently hold his first training session. Sporting director Olaf Rebbe: "Andries Jonker knows VfL Wolfsburg well and maintained regular contact with the club even after his move to London. Both factors were vital in us achieving this top solution so quickly. He is an internationally experienced coach and an expert tactician, who provides the best possible requirements to get VfL back on track quickly and sustainably."

In his coaching career, aside from positions at several professional clubs in Holland, Andries Jonker has also worked with the Dutch Football Federation in youth development, as well as being assistant coach to Louis van Gaal at FC Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich, where he was also caretaker-coach following van Gaal’s dismissal in 2011, guiding the team to the Champions League.

They're personal friends and Poch spends almost all his int breaks in Barcelona. Doesn't really mean anything.

Will be telling to see if he wants Spaletti to stay on or if he will push for a new coach. I see the former happening and would be just fine with that.

CorSport: #Inter are ready to offer €15 million euros a year to convince either Conte or Simeone to manage the team.

Sky: Steven Zhang is working on bringing in Antonio Conte. After #Chelsea win the league #Inter will make a huge offer for him.

Just so you know, his family still stays in Italy and haven't moved into London yet so this is perhaps the reason why he might consider the Inter job although I still don't believe it.

If he does join them though, he's dead to me. Will go on a bigger hate train than Pogba if it ever happens.

Inter get linked with so many great players and managers but always end up with some absolute jobbers.

Conte won't leave Chelsea lol, Roman will give him Falcao level wages if he has to, but he won't leave.

Simeone on the other hand..

Hope Conte does leave for Inter. Doesn't get nearly enough credit for making Juve relevant again by it's supporters. Would be a huge FU to those fickle fans. Plus weakens Chelsea. Can totally see Roman letting him leave and signing Simeone.

Not sure if Conte would move to Inter though, massive step down.

More interested in seeing what happens with Pochettino, surprised Barca haven't got in for him tbh. Gonna sign some other scrubby La Liga lad who will leave after a season of them not winning CL. Poch is a top 3 coach in the world atm.

Did Brocchi, Zidane and Pippo retire or something?
