That's all well and good for you Mole.....

Nintendo's financial struggle says otherwise..... They need to seriously sort themselves out.

I couldn't care less about system sellers lol.

Not my job to worry about profits lmao, i couldn't care less whether a game sells 10 copies or 10 million.

I only care about whether i enjoy the game or not I'm not a sales rep lol.

Being a corporate slave and worrying about sales must be very sad.

Sony got slack because they're re-releasing The Last Of Us again for Ps4

But it looks like Xbox one is remaking Perfect Dark again and Halo 2 makeover? And these are supposed to be big announcement at e3? rofl

Also Nintendo's problem is due to lack of PR and poor messaging combined with a low install base.

Nothing to do with the games on offer, infact the games available trumps the other console at present time.

And similar games on the Wii like Mario Kart for example sold 35m copies lmao.

These games would sell a lot better on PS4 due to better PR, messaging and higher install base, has nothing to do with the games really.

Not about being a corporate slave....... Suspect

But it is funny how you continue to say there's no reason to actually pick up an PS4 and Xbox 1 because there is nothing really to play and 1 or 2 games shouldn't really change that........

....... but you picked up a Wii U to play Mario Kart and DK....?

Nintendo are struggling.
That's why stuff like this end up happening;

I know they are struggling as i mentioned in my follow up post....

Also i didn't just get it for Mario Kart and DK, there's about 8 games i'm interested in.

Also Colo, when did Sony get heat for releasing TLOU on PS4?

And besides a new Perfect Dark for first time in nearly 10 years, is hardly comparable to a port with higher textures, lets not be silly now.

Also its not the only things they are showing off, read M99s post in full and quit being a fanboy.

Mainly because of this outstanding looking game

Exact same thing as someone buying an Xbox 1 mainly for Titanfall or someone buying a PS4 for Infamous.

Yeah Mole has confirmed before, he's planning on buying plenty of platform games. Which is significantly different from buying an XB1 for literally one exclusive.

Also its backward compatible so i can still play all my Wii games and its about 200 quid cheaper.

I might have been inclined to buy a PS4/XBO one by now if they were backwards compatible and 150 quid lol.

Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Also M99 brah why you laughing at 2.5d platformers?

Rayman Legends and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze are two of probably top 5 games i have played in last 2 years.

Both are 2.5d platformers, absolutely zero wrong with 2.5d as long as the devs make innovative, creative levels with challenge.

2.5D platformers, no matter how good they are will never greatly affect a system's sales. There is no more next gen now, the new gen is now the current gen, they need some serious AAA titles to make gamers want to buy the system. So far Sony has had the edge on sales and comparing the two press conferences leaks, it looks like PS4 is going to go even stronger. And besides, I bet PS4 will have a lot of these platformers too. Makers of LittleBigPlanet are making Entwined for example. Now I know that there does look to be some serious games from Microsoft coming out from the leak I posted, but Sony simply has more which are being made by renowned developers.

Fair enough M99 but quite frankly i don't think it matters much, neither console is struggling to sell really.

All things like 2.5d platformers will do is diverse the games the console has which can only be a good thing IMO.

Take Sunset Overdrive for example, i know its not a platformer but i can't see it being a system seller as well but it looks a fun game and will be different from the norm.

That concept looks enticing. I don't believe in more than 2-3 hours of gaming a week but Deus Ex HR kept me hooked beyond that limit, was a stunningly good game in every aspect. Developers need to learn from that polish.

Honestly I still have not decided which console to buy. PS4 has been the favourite for over one year but E3 will be the time I make my final decision.
