nah man , at least the red was legit. Both yellow cards were. As for this and that , i'd say he's been mostly fair and correct with his decisions..
anyway , i am surprised to watch we didn't offer our arses to Japan since the red card. In fact , we even look much better without Katsouranis lol , Japan has been so nervous in the 2nd half. Let's see what happens.
@Arquitescu wrote:Watching Keisuke for Japan is an absolute joy as Zaccheroni truly knows how and where Honda should be played in terms of position, freedom and role.
Learn from that Seedorf....Oh wait.
He may know how to use him properly , but trust me , he isn't doing a good job this game. Any really good player would have carried his team to victory by now and he cannot seem to do that. He's a threat , but a minor one.
I am quite dissapointed with Honda actualy , Greece my nt and whatnot , i expected better from him in this game . I'd say Osako and Nagatomo are much more iminent threats for Greece than him , which is a shame for someone like Honda. But we'll see

Punditry is a joke. "what a lucky save from the keeper" "Greeks know how to waste time" "Nice tumble from the Greek" "Any chance _______ gets to go down, he does"
I can't be the only one who's noticed this?

Not winning even against Greece in 11 vs 10 lol
I don't remember a dangerous action made by Greece, but I say totally in last 10 years, not even in Euro 2004
Definitely Not καλὸi καὶ ἀγαθόi

Japan and Greece draw so Colombia are through to the last 16. Only the second time in their history (the other was back in 1990).

Re: World Cup: Group C discussion
ffs of course it's boring , it's Greece playing
As for the game , we wanted to hold our own after the red and we did. Can't expect Greece with the quality that we have to trully claim the win after a red card. It's a positive result for Greece though , much better news than what it is for Japan.
I'd say the Japanese should have been calmer in the 2nd half , as it was obvious that after every mistaken chance they just kept losing their calma . Then they got tired and really , that result was a big fail for them. They were the 'better' team with a numerical advantage. Should have done the deed .
Now , i am not sure Greece is capable to win against Ivory Coast , but , you can count Japan off the WC. We will either win , or we will lose , our next game won't end in a draw , because we will simply go all in for it , we have no other option . Having said that, i'd say IC has the best chance to accompany the Colombians in the next stage .
In conclusion , i am happy with the result , as i can hardly imagine how this could have been better given the game at hand. Dissapointed with Honda but anyhow , best of luck to the Japanese from here on. But i do believe their luck isn't getting any better against Colombia... they could win and still go on holidays around Brazil after that

but be fair mate , we did have a few chances.. the streak of corners in the 2nd half , Torosidis shot in the 1st half , Gekas' header in the 2nd.. one or two Kone shots. Few , but they were there. Not sure what you expected , of course Greece is Greece , the masters of boring football but , we did have chances ffs

Re: World Cup: Group C discussion
Greece is a disgrace of European football!!! Ofcourse Greece are the champion of boring football but this, no attack from first min??? Red card is a stupid excuse, how many shots they had before the card?? infact after the card i was sure if Japan had any chances to win,its now gone with that card. because one man less can be a problem for other teams but not for Greece. with every man down their wall thickness increases, thats the formula.
Japan paid for their wastefulness. against such a stupid team they wont be able to create chances after chances, so they should have converted even the half chances....
i really feel sad for Sweden...they would be much more entertaining ....

Albeit your poor quality rage post is somewhat amusing , i cannot understand one thing . Nobody forced you to watch Japan-Greece . What's more , just going by the names this would never have been a crazy game in the first place. So why call the Greek nt a disgrace to football ?
Do this nt owe you or european football-lmao anything in particular ? Obviously no. So , what i see is . You probably regretted your decision to sit down to watch this game and now you're raging to the rest of us because of it. AM I RITE?
And i also don't get the , no attack from first min??? U wot m8 ? Greece had chances , few and likely nothing to brag about back home , but they did. So calm your tits lad , it was just a boring game and to enhance that , Japan didn't help either.. i don't see the real reason why you're that disrespectful to the Greek nt , our nt is limited but such a reaction when that is common knowledge is quite laughable

In any case , we didn't even park the bus for the remaining game , although we did defend strongly on the occasion . We tried with whatever we had left to strike here and there , though to no avail. But according to you that's a disgrace to european football i know . We should be banging goals left and right with 10 men , how could they sit back and defend after a red card is beyond me really .
Moving on , given how we went down to 10 men , we actually came out much stronger in the 2nd half. Japan got nervous because they were realising that even with 10 men they couldn't beat us , albeit wastefull in the meantime , the fact remains , they couldn't manage to do it and that's because we were defending well for the majority of the game . The fact that Honda got MOTM after the game speaks volumes of what i say , he was trying to feed his team because we shut him down so completely , but even that was pointless as the game went on , they were unable to do anything for more than 1 hour playing with a numerical advantage.
If Greece holding their own against a dangerous opponent is stupid , obviously nowhere like other elite NTs are being dangerous but dangerous on their own accord nonetheless , sry then but i have to say the only one who deserves the epithet , stupid , is most likely you. There was nothing stupid in what Greece did or how they did it . Well , the red card was stupid , but that's that. Even our coach Santos , who thank goodness is officially leaving the nt after the WC , reacted very well after the red card and set the team properly.
All in all , albeit amusing to see someone rage for such reasons , i cannot but criticize your "opinion" on the matter. Anyone in their sane minds would have known exactly what they were going to see , saying OMG DID NUUU CHUNCIESH !!!!1!11! , BOOREENGH !!11! , is flat out hilarious and stupid at the same time .
