Flopping?
The Dutch attackers have been completely starved of the ball and left isolated with nothing to work with.

Messi to John Cena the monster heel in the final Proud 5 moves all match and wins Proud

I'm still waiting for Argentina's apparent awful defence to concede 3 a game btw...

Poor match overall. Not unexpectedly though.

That's what happens when both teams have similar strength and weaknesses.

It's not about Messi or Robben, Netherlands as a collective is a really strong team which plays on counters for the most part but could launch an assault on a PTB as well. Argentine plays wannabe attacking footy in a very half hearted passion. There's no way they won't bow out by at least 2 goals difference against this Netherlands.

Poor decision to not bring in krul. Their keeper clearly had no confidence after being taken out last time. lf you do it once you have to do it every time.

No, they weren't. Both teams were extra cautious and as a result there were few chances for either side.

Credit to Argentina though. In a WC, it doesn't matter how you play as long as you win because the second you're a WC winner the revisionist history kicks in and everybody associated is instantly world class.

Man, I'm glad I wasn't born to Brazilian parents. Imagine losing 1-7 at home and then watching your fiercest rival play a final in your backyard.

Thanks mom.

Thanks dad.

Had nothing to do with confidence. Cillessen is just bad at penalties. But you can't save 1/3 subs just for a possible penalty shooutout every game especially as tbh Krul isn't even a "killer". Vermeer would be.

FFS Argentina

We were supposed to get an all-European final and an all-South American consolation because those would be epic

Now we get a decent final and a 3rd place match nobody wants to watch

You just know Messi's going to do something in that final now

'decent' final?

It's the two best teams facing off, in a goddamn classic.

Two players refused to take the first penalty before LVG asked Vlaar who actually had the balls to take one.

I am guessing one was Huntelaar. Other might be Wijnaldum/Clasie
