those stats are stupid btw, at chelsea every offensive play involves hazard, he's the main man. chelsea players literally give hazard the ball everytime they receive it and ask him to do something. in terms of sanchez he wasnt the main man at barca of course, at arsenal he will be the main man.

id rather have sanchez, his talent is clear. hazard was shit when he was pressed in the world cup, sanchez bossed it. you will see the world cup sanchez at arsenal as we will give him freedom.

Because he's far more gifted and has been better than Sanchez in each of the last 4/5 seasons.

Sanchez helped Barcelona win La liga 2 years back, what did Hazard do?

far more gifted? according to what?

What did Hazard do in the last 4/5 years which makes it better than what Sanchez did in the last 4/5 years?

Sanchez will score slightly more goals but that's where it ends. Hazard is superior at everything else.

La Liga Laughing He was hardly a factor that season. He only scored 8 goals and made 18 starts.

Stop dodging the questions brah. What is 'superior at everything'? Is Hazard superior in ghosting in big matches? I would agree then. Is Hazard superior than Sanchez in goal scoring? Is Hazard superior in work rate? Is Hazard superior in tactical flexibility? Is Hazard superior in Assists?

Where was this superiority when Hazard flopped for Belgium while Sanchez ruined teams?

Well, he has created more chances, made more passes, and has a higher pass completion rate than the others. That doesn't make him better. I'd imagine if you did "Total Score" -- which I believe comprises of every statistic -- Özil would be last.

Small sample size. And per 90 metrics are the best way of comparing players statistically rather than totals.

I don't care either way. Stats are for narrow minded people who can't rely on their own judgement.

Koscielny had the best squakwa stats for any CB across Europe last season. But even without them I can tell you he is a top 5 CB in the world. If Stats make you happy then be it.

Back to the original discussion. Where you ignored my other post but i'll let it slip.

Let me change the question slightly. Why should Hazard be included in the same bracket as Robben, Reus and Ribery? All three of them are proven. All three of them were integral part of their Trophies. What has hazard done to match any three of them?

Hazard's youtube video's have achieved more than Hazard's career has.

His hype far outweighs his production.

Wait, what exactly has Reus won? Hazard has won Ligue 1 and the Europa League.

Anyway, judging players on trophies alone is stupid.

RG chitting on Gil like DAAAYUUMMMMM

Gil what a disgrace, using Squawka to compare players, absolutely ridiculous.

It's always telling, people who are quick to run to statistics in a football argument are always those who lack of understanding. Gil, i know you have been disappointed by Hazard, it's ok to admit it. He is not the super phenom you thought his youtube skills would make him. Football is a lot more complicated and nastier than that.

I have said it before, there is so much more to Sanchez as a footballer than Hazard, and things a lot more tangible than dribbling, or running down the touchline to cut inside.

@lenear, what's funny is that in that lille winning squad, gervinho was better than Hazard. Eden had those magic moments, like his goal vs Lyon, but the guy that was going out there producing week in and week out was Gervais. And then you had Cabaye, Mavuba, Balmont, Debuchy, prime Rami. so many players putting work.

Reus was one of the best players in the CL the season Dortmund went to the final and despite being injured for majority off last season still scared the eventual winners last season shitless.

Hazard's biggest contribution to CL success is subbing himself off after 30 mins to allow Sherla to dominate and win Chelsea the tie against PSG.

Meh, god forbid Sanchez out performs Hazard with his 3 years experience in EPL. next season, Logic suggests that Hazard should be more consistent and productive given that Sanchez just moved. What wont escape anyone though, is the quality that he truly has.

Which is exactly my point. Judging players on their statistical impact alone is pointless. The traditional eye test tells me Hazard is the better player.

This notion on GL that Hazard has done nothing in his career and Sanchez is the modern equivalent of Romario smacks of confirmation bias and post-major tournament hype. The current Balon D'or was easily the flop of the World Cup but I'm not going to dismiss his past achievements and ability because of it.

Hazard is the type of player who's impact on a game transcends goals/assists.

First of all, congratulations to all Arsenal fans on the signing of Asexis Sanchez.

Yet if we do not include Eden Hazard in the aforementioned tier, Asexis definitely cannot be included in there. Asexis is still before his footballing yet as a player he has achieved little and this does not include by trophies but sheer impact for his teams, to which a younger Hazard has more.

Asexis is rated fine as especially for Chile, yet Hazard has become CRIMINALLY underrated on this forum, while frauds like Oscar continue to be rated on the upper echelons of talent.
