Fernando Hierro joins Real Madrid's coaching staff
He will be Ancelotti's assistant 2nd coach. Be careful all of you, Master Hierro is here.

Well, it is a job so I guess he put aside his dislike for Perez.

Re: Fernando Hierro joins Real Madrid's coaching staff
On paper, its not a bad move, maybe he plans on coaching in future as well, so this will be good experience for him. he can also provide tips for our defense. Anyone who's been a long time fan of madrid will remember that helguera actually looked world class when he partnered with hierro at the back....the moment hierro left helguera got clumsy, lol and woodgate and pavon (who also looked decent when he featured sporadically with hierro) were even worse. lmao woodgate and pavon were probably the worst starting defenders we've ever had.
in all seriousness, this will be a good move if hierro plans on coaching madrid in future, (i've always had faith in former defensive or holding midfield players as coaches) other than that, carlo is the boss, hierro the assistant so i honestly don't see it as a significant change....but i guess its good to have someone who understands the club and its history
